(Minghui.org) Last year, two elderly men seized a Falun Dafa practitioner when she was telling people about Falun Dafa at a market in China. They took her to a police station, hoping to get some kind of reward for turning her in.
A police officer dumped a pile of Falun Dafa pamphlet from her bag onto the table. The practitioner told the officer, “Take a good look at these pamphlets. The former director of this police station and his wife received retribution for persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners by following Jiang Zemin's policies.”
The practitioner continued to clarify the facts about Falun Dafa and explain to the police officers and others who were present why it was being persecuted. No one tried to stop her. The two old men who wanted a reward were ignored until an officer chased them out of the station.
One officer smiled as he read a leaflet. He whispered to the practitioner, “You did a great job making these!”
The practitioner was released two hours later.
World Falun Dafa Day Poster 'Stolen'
A fellow practitioner and I were handing out posters in New York City in celebration of World Falun Dafa Day. Many people liked the posters and took them home.
The posters had colorful pictures and information about how Falun Dafa is practiced in 100 counties worldwide. Many Falun Dafa practitioners of different ethnicities wore their country's traditional costumes during that celebration.
Our parade in New York really drew people's attention. When we talked to them about Falun Dafa, they accepted the information easily. Expatriate Chinese were willing to withdraw their memberships in the Party and its youth organizations.
Everyone wanted a poster. One person said, “It brings good fortune.” Others said they would hang it up as soon as they got home. Some said they wanted to show it to their friends and relatives first.
One day I had only three posters left. Someone asked me for two of them, but I only gave him one. When I wasn't looking, he took another one. Then he shouted as he walked away, “Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is good!”
