(Minghui.org) The Yakeshi City Procuratorate in Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia, approved the arrests of nine Falun Gong practitioners on December 5, 2016.
The arrested practitioners are Ms. Xiao Lijuan, Ms. Yan Liping, Mr. Zhao Deting, Mr. Zhang Fajun, Ms. Wang Xiujie and her husband Mr. Liu Wenfa, Ms. Liu Aihua, Ms. Kong Xianyan and Ms. Fang.
Ms. Xiao and Ms. Yan are being held at the Hulunbuir Detention Center. The others are being held at the Forestry Detention Center.
On October 28, 2016, the Daxinanling Forestry Police Department and the Senlin Police Department summoned local officers and went to the practitioners' homes. They arrived late at night when everyone was asleep, and pried or kicked open the doors, and made the arrests.
The officers also ransacked their homes and confiscated Falun Gong books, truth-clarification materials, computers, printers, cellphones and other personal belongings. Other valuables and cash were also taken, but no lists of the items taken were provided.
Ms. Tang Guixiang and Ms. Li Shuzhen were also taken from their homes, but Ms. Tang was released on bail the next day due to her father's illness. Ms. Li was released after being detained for 30 days.
The other nine practitioners are still detained.
