(Minghui.org) When Swedish Falun Dafa practitioners set up a booth on September 24 at Norrmalmstorg, a busy square in central Stockholm, many passersby stopped for more information and signed petitions to support them.
Standing next to an anti-torture exhibition and posters, practitioner Kristina explained to the public how practitioners have been mistreated for their belief in the past 17 years. “The Chinese Communist Party is killing Falun Dafa practitioners for their organs. We have to do something to stop it,” she said through a speaker.

Witness to Persecution in China
One Chinese young man who lives in Sweden told a practitioner, “When I was in Harbin [the capital city of Heilongjiang Province], I saw police officers arresting Falun Gong practitioners. The officers forced the captives to swear at Falun Gong and its founder, and whoever refused were taken away and detained.”
Because he stopped to watch what had happened, the young man was taken to be a practitioner by the officers and arrested.
Overcoming Prejudice
Two Chinese students who recently arrived in Sweden read the posters in detail. They initially did not believe that forced organ harvesting is taking place. After a practitioner explained to them the Chinese Communist Party's numerous political campaigns, as well as its torture of Falun Gong practitioners for their beliefs, the girls became quiet. Upon leaving, they took pamphlets from the practitioners.
Many pedestrians signed petitions to support Falun Dafa practitioners.
“More People Need to Know This”
After one couple read the posters, the husband immediately signed the petition calling to end the persecution. He then turned to his wife and said, “Could you also sign this? This is very important.”
When practitioner Marshall distributed materials to passing tourists, he met a government officer he already knew. The officer chatted with him and encouraged him to continue with his efforts.
A group of young men from Latvia said that they were familiar with the brutality of the Communist Party. They signed petitions and said that they would tell more people about it. “More people need to know this,” one of them remarked.
