(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in China have been suppressed for their belief for 17 years. In the beginning, many people believed the government propaganda and were hostile toward practitioners. Over the years, a growing number of people have come to know the real situation and became supporters of Falun Gong.

Below are two stories shared by practitioners, in which those who have resisted the persecution have met with blessings.

[Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] My Relative Tested Negative for Hepatitis B

A relative of mine used to work for the Jiangsu Provincial government. Upon hearing that I was arrested for practicing Falun Gong in 2006, he was indignant and went to the provincial government building where he used to work. He told his old colleagues, “What right do you have to arrest my relative? What's wrong with Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance? You should not persecute good people like this!”

This person was infected with Hepatitis B in the past, and tests had shown that there were both viral antigens and antibodies in his body. Soon after he went to the provincial government, his tests for both became negative. At first his daughter didn't believe it. After confirming the result, she exclaimed, “What a miracle!”

I told my relative that it was because he spoke out against the persecution of Falun Gong. He smiled and said, “Maybe I will start practicing Falun Gong, too.”

[Tangshan City, Hebei Province] My Nephew Becomes a Good Student

My nephew was in seventh grade in 2013. Although he is a very smart kid, his grades in Chinese was terrible.

When Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zheng Xiangxi was illegally arrested and tortured to the brink of death, many locals signed petitions asking for his release. My nephew also signed his name.

One day, he came home and told his grandpa that he had won first place for a school essay competition. His grandpa was overjoyed, “How is that possible?!”

When my nephew told me over the phone, I told him it was because he helped to rescue the Falun Gong practitioner. Since then, he has become more confident and his grades continue to improve.
