(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 12 provinces. According to this report, 2 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, at least 27 were illegally arrested, and the whereabouts of 4 are unknown.

Ms. Zhang Jinling and Mr. Guo Yanhong from Anbo Town were arrested on June 21, 2016, for distributing Falun Gong informational materials.

2. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Xu Yuan’s Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Xu Yuan, a teacher at Kelihua Middle School in the Xuanwu District, Nanjing, was recently arrested at school. She was taken to the Houzaimen Police Station. Her whereabouts are unknown.

3. [Dazhou City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Qin Fangbi, 68; Ms. Wang Ruizhi, 74; and Ms. Zhang Mingqing, 80, from Majia Township in Da County were arrested by officers from the Muzi Police Station in Muzi Township on June 14, 2016, for talking to people about Falun Gong.

Ms. Wang and Ms. Zhang were released that afternoon after their fingerprints were obtained against their will. Ms. Qin was taken to the Da County Detention Center.

4. [Jingzhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Hu Meixin and Ms. Fu Meifang Arrested

Ms. Hu Meixin and Ms. Fu Meifang from Jianli County were arrested on June 22, 2016, by Rongcheng Town Police Station officers for distributing Falun Gong materials.

5. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Liu Xingying and Ms. Kou Qiaoyun Detained

Ms. Liu Xingying and Ms. Kou Qiaoyun were arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Panlong District Police Department on June 12, 2016. They were taken to the Kunming City Detention Center.

6. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Ma Xiuzhen, 73; Ms. Yan Baofen, 71; and Ms. Xun Peiying, 69, from Rushan City were arrested by officers from the Yintan Police Department for talking to people about Falun Gong in the Yintan Development Zone on June 20, 2016.

The three women were taken to the Rushan City Police Department. Ms. Ma was released for being older than the legal required age for a detainee.

Ms. Shen Meizhen, Ms. Huang Jinlian, and Mr. Ying Zhenqiang were arrested by officers from the Huzhen Town Police Station and officials of Huzhen Town on the morning of June 22, 2016. They are held in the Xiaojun Brainwashing Center.

8. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Yafeng Taken to Prison

Ms. Li Yafeng was arrested on September 9, 2013. She was held in the Zhengzhou No. 3 Detention Center before being transferred to the Henan Women's Prison.

9. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yu Ling Detained

Ms. Yu Ling was arrested by officers from the Yuhuang Police Station on June 13, 2016. She was held in the Huludao Detention Center. Officers from the Huludao Domestic Security Division and the Longgang Police Department ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, cell phones, and DVDs that evening.

10. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xu Shuying and Ms. Jia Fengxian Arrested

Ms. Xu Shuying and Ms. Jia Fengxian from Zhuozhou City were recently arrested by officers from the local domestic security division and the police department for talking to people about Falun Gong.

11. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Guihua Detained for Suing Jiang Zemin

Ms. Zhang Guihua was arrested at home by officers from the Nanguan District Domestic Security Division on June 22, 2016, for suing Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese communist regime. She was held in the Weizigou Detention Center for five days.

12. [Shangzhi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Su Kun and Ms. Wang Cui'e Detained

Mr. Su Kun and Ms. Wang Cui'e, Weihe Forestry Bureau employees, were arrested for distributing Falun Gong materials on the evening of June 20, 2016. Their homes were ransacked. Both are being held in Harbin.

13. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Shufeng Arrested

Ms. Zhang Shufeng from the Fenghuangtai Residential District, Zhifu District, was arrested on June 23, 2016. The police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books, printed materials, a computer, and a printer.

14. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Jing Huiling Detained

Ms. Jing Huiling was arrested on June 21, 2016. She is being held in the Anjing Detention Center. Her home was ransacked, and her Falun Gong books, cell phone, notebook computer, printer, and cash were confiscated.

15. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Three Practitioners’ Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Zhou Xiqiong and his wife Ms. Li Ying from Huaji Town, Linquan County, were arrested by officers from the Linquan County Domestic Security Division and the local police station in early June 2016. Their whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Ma Junping from Linquan County was arrested by officers from the Linquan County Domestic Security Division on June 22, 2016. Her whereabouts are unknown.

16. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Ms. Zhuang Liyun Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Zhuang Liyun, who worked at Yangxin Middle School in Gaotang Township, Linquan County, was reported and arrested by the school principal and local police for teaching students to follow the Falun Gong principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. She was taken to the Fuyang City Lockup for 10 days of detention. After that, she was transferred to the Fuyang City Detention Center by Zhang Lei, deputy head of the Linquan County Domestic Security Division. She was sentenced to a three-year prison term.
