(Minghui.org) One day, I was telling people about Falun Dafa in a park, and was joined by another practitioner. We saw a couple walking slowly; the woman had to hold the man while he struggled to walk with a limp. The practitioner told me that the man worked for the police, and he had had a stroke after attending a conference about suppressing Falun Dafa in Beijing in 2000. After his stroke, practitioners tried to tell him about Falun Dafa and the persecution, but he refused to listen. I felt in my heart that I should try to talk to him.
I approached him, started a conversation, and asked him what had happened to his leg. I took the opportunity to tell him about Falun Dafa, but he would not listen. When I did not give up, he became angry and shouted, “Do you know who I am? I work for the police!” He took his cell phone out of his pocket to report me. His wife quickly advised me to leave, adding that he would not listen to anyone, even her.
A week later, I saw him again at the park. I walked up and said: “It's predestined that we meet again. I care about your future.” He did not try to refute me, but quietly said, “You should leave.”
I saw him sitting alone a third time. I wondered what to do. The mercy of Dafa guided me toward him. I sat down and asked where his wife was. He pointed in her direction. Then I told him that those who do not withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party will also be implicated by its crimes in the future.
I explained that the Tiananmen Square self-immolation video that was being broadcast on TV was a lie. I added, “We've met three times now. I don't want to give up on you. Your body will heal if you sincerely repeat, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
This time, he listened to everything I said without sending me away. I told him to give it a try.
A few days later, I was in the park again and saw someone walking toward me–it was the same man. Now he had no problem walking upright and without a limp.
I happily approached him saying, “You can walk now–all by yourself! Where's your wife?” He recognized me and said, “I don't need her help anymore. I walked here myself.” I said, “What I told you was true, right?”
He smiled and nodded, saying: “Yes, yes.” I said: “Then, will you quit the Communist Party to ensure your safety?” Again he said, “Yes, yes!”
