(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 22 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 9 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at lease 46 were illegally arrested.

1. [Rongcheng City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Ms. Ma Guifang, Ms. Su Chunlian, Mr. Bi Shunrong, and Mr. Liu Aihua from Ningjin Town were arrested by officers from the Taoyuan Police Station on May 30, 2016, when they were telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. They were detained at the Rongcheng Detention Center.

2. [Xupu County, Hunan Province] Ms. Yang Lanying and Ms. Mao Yanping Detained

Ms. Yang Lanying and Ms. Mao Yanping were arrested by officers from Shuidong Police Station on May 29, 2016, when they were distributing Falun Gong materials in Yinhu Township. They were incarcerated at the county Detention Center.

3. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Hou Liling Detained for Seven Days

Ms. Hou Liling of the Yanshan Neighborhood was arrested by plainclothes officers from the Yanshan Police Station on the morning of May 17, 2016. Police illegally interrogated her and took a blood sample from her. They detained her for seven days.

4. [Xian City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Ye Hua Detained

Ms. Ye Hua of Changan District was arrested by officers from the Fengchenglu Police Station around April 20, 2016, while she was distributing Falun Gong materials in a northern suburb. She is incarcerated at a detention center.

5. [Yibin City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Zhiming Imprisoned

Ms. Zhang Zhiming has been incarcerated in the Longquanyi Prison in Chengdu City since March 11, 2016.

6. [Hunchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Xilian in Serious Condition in Prison

Ms. Li Xilian was arrested on December 19, 2015, and sentenced to three-and-a-half-years on January 15, 2016. She was first incarcerated at the Yanji City Detention Center where she became weak and began coughing due to persecution. She was transferred to the Jilin Province Women's Prison in early April. She now has pulmonary tuberculosis, but the prison refuses to release her.

7. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Meiling and Ms. Qin Yumei Detained

Ms. Wang Meiling and Ms. Qin Yumei of Shibei District was arrested by plainclothes officers on May 29, 2016, when they were talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Ms. Wang is incarcerated at the Pudong Detention Center while Ms. Qin is in the Anshanlu Police Station.

8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Jianying Incarcerated in Jilin Prison

Mr. Wang Jianying was arrested at home on July 20, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. He was sentenced to five years on May 11, 2016. The court did not notify his family of the trial as required by Chinese law. He is incarcerated in Jilin Prison.

10. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Xu and Ms. Gao Fengmei Sentenced to Three Years

Mr. Zhang Xu and Ms. Gao Fengmei of Changling County was arrested in June 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin by officers from the Changling Police Department. They were sentenced to three years in prison on May 26, 2016. They have appealed.

11. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Six Practitioners Detained

Mr. Guo Yanjun, Ms. Niu Xiangzhen, Ms. Ruyi, Ms. Xiuzheng, Mr. Xiying, and Ms. Baolan of Linzhang County were arrested by officers from the Linzhang County Police Department on the evening of May 29, 2016, while they were distributing Falun Gong materials in the countryside. Their car was confiscated. Mr. Guo and Mr. Xi are incarcerated at the Linzhang County Detention Center while the other four female practitioners are at the Handan No. 1 Detention Center.

12. [Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Liu Simei and Ms. Ma Yuequn Sentenced

Ms. Liu Simei and Ms. Ma Yuequn were arrested in July 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. They were incarcerated at the Xinyu Detention Center. Ms. Liu was sentenced to two years. Ms. Ma was sentenced to two-and-a-half-years. They were taken to the Nanchang Women's Prison on May 20, 2016.

13. [Beijing] Ms. Fu Guiyun arrested

Ms. Fu Guiyun of Daxin District was arrested at home on May 20, 2016. Police ransacked her home. Her whereabouts are unknown.

14. [Xinyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Li Jiazhi Arrested

Mr. Li Jiazhi of Guangshan County was arrested at home on May 26, 2016 by officers from the Zishui Police Station.

15. [Yuzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Ma Xinhong Detained

Ms. Ma Xinhong was arrested on the morning of May 24, 2016. She was released after being detained five days.

16. [Guilin City, Guangxi Province] Five Practitioners Detained

Ms. Liu Zexun was arrested on May 29, 2016 by officers from the Guilin Police Department and the Jiangjunqiao Police Station, while she was distributing Falun Gong materials. She was detained for 15 days.

Mr. Zheng Guoying, Mr. Meng Zhibin, Ms. Li Wei, and Mr. Zhou Jianhua were arrested on August 28, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin by officers from the Guilin Domestic Security Division. They are detained.

17. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Shi Qing Detained

Ms. Shi Qing, over 40, was arrested on May 31, 2016, when she was distributing Falun Gong materials. She is incarcerated at the Sanshujie Police Station.

18. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Mr. Zhou Junzhu, Mr. Wei Xinrong, Ms. Mei and her daughter from the Nuodingshan Neighborhood, were arrested on May 12, 2016. They are incarcerated at the Jinlin City Detention Center.

19. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Fu Yanfei Sentenced to Three Years

Ms. Fu Yanfei was tried on May 20, 2016. Zhao Junfeng, judge from the Erdao District Court, sentenced her to three years. Ms. Fu plans to appeal.

20. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Twelve Practitioners Arrested After Attending Trial

Ms. Bai Chunhua was tried on May 30, 2016 on the Gongyi City Court. Mr. Wang Wenchang, Ms. Gao Fengwu, Mr. Zhang Yuanheng, Ms. Cui Jinxia, Ms. Fu Shufeng, Ms. Cui Suping, Ms. Shao Weifang, Mr. Zhao Songmao, Ms. Lan Qiaozhen, Ms. Yan Meiping, Ms. Wu Zongqi, and Mr. Su Aihua attended the trial. They were followed and arrested afterwards. Ms. Yan, Mr. Wu, and Mr. Su were taken to the Nanhedu Police Station and later released. The others are incarcerated at a detention center.

Ms. Mei Jianlan and Mr. Luo Daguo of Yingheji Village were arrested on May 26, 2016 by officers from the Macheng Domestic Security Division and the Zhongyi Police Station. Their homes were ransacked.
