Truly Showing Our Divine Side

(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in different areas have recently been arrested for talking to people about the practice. Others have been taken to hospital due to sickness karma, and some are trapped in agony due to attachments of sentimentality and lust.

Many of these practitioners have successfully overcome tough tribulations in the past years of persecution, but have run into problems at this final stage of validating the Fa.

As I thought about this, Master's words came to my mind:

“Whenever a tribulation comes, you do not see it with the side of your original nature but view it completely with your human side. Evil demons then capitalize on this point and inflict endless interference and damage, leaving students in long-term tribulations. As a matter of fact, this results from an inadequate understanding of the Fa by your human side. You have humanly restrained your divine side; in other words, you have restrained the parts that have been successfully cultivated and have prevented them from doing Fa-rectification. How can the uncultivated side restrain your main thoughts or the side that has already attained the Fa? Having humanly fostered the evil demons, you allow them to capitalize on the loopholes in the Fa. When a tribulation arrives, if you, a disciple, can truly maintain an unshakable calm or be determined to meet different requirements at different levels, this should be sufficient for you to pass the test. If it continues endlessly and if there do not exist other problems in your xinxing or conduct, it must be that the evil demons are capitalizing on the weak spots caused by your lack of control.” (“Expounding on the Fa” from Essentials for Further Advancement)

Our divine side completely meets the requirements of the realm that Dafa has set for us. Even though there are a huge variety of realms and lives, they are all under the umbrella of Dafa. In my understanding, the characteristics of our divine side are selflessness and altruism. So, if we could do everything based on selflessness and altruism while validating the Fa, there shouldn't be so much interference from the old forces.

Many practitioners have experienced how a difference in one thought can bring about different results. Some who had symptoms of sickness karma changed their thinking to believe that their body is needed to validate the Fa and offer salvation to sentient beings, not for enduring persecution. The false appearance of sickness karma then disappeared when they firmly held this righteous thought.

Some practitioners remained unscathed in dangerous situations when their righteous thoughts were full of compassion, and without any consideration of their own loss. Practitioners have also stopped the old forces from interfering with their family members.

When we run into problems, we should completely step out of the “self,” let go our attachments and follow Dafa's requirements.

Master said,

“When a tribulation arrives, if you, a disciple, can truly maintain an unshakable calm or be determined to meet different requirements at different levels, this should be sufficient for you to pass the test.” (“Expounding on the Fa” from Essentials for Further Advancement)

When we let go our own way of thinking, and do things out of selflessness and altruism, truly showing our divine side, we will be able to break through any interference, offer salvation to sentient beings and quickly return to our true origin.

The existence of our lives relies on our assimilation to the Fa of the new cosmos. Failure of let go “self” would stop us from meeting the requirements of the new cosmos and entering there.

When validating the Fa, we have to follow Master's requirements instead of following our own pursuits. I believe it's the only the way to fulfill our mission.
