(Minghui.org) Not long after I mailed a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin to the Beijing Supreme People's Procuratorate, the party secretary at my workplace found out that the police were coming to arrest me. He immediately informed my supervisor, the department secretary.
My supervisor, who was away on business, rushed back to the office. On his way back, he called and told me to leave the office immediately, and also told my colleagues how to deal with the police when they arrived.
I got away safely.
I wanted to go back to work but was afraid of causing trouble for the company, so I decided to have a talk with my supervisor first. But he called me before I could do so, telling me that everything was fine and I could return to work.
I thanked him for protecting me. “How could I let you be sent to prison?” he replied.
Back at work the next day, I went to thank the party secretary for informing my supervisor about the police, and to tell him about Falun Gong.
When I went to his office, he invited me to sit down. I started by telling him why practitioners are filing lawsuits against Jiang and that 4,000 practitioners are documented to have already been persecuted to death, with the actual number likely to be much higher.
I gave more details, and he listened attentively.
When I’d finished, he said, “You did the right thing in coming to talk to me. Your supervisor told me that you do your job well. You are one of the employees under my care, and it is my responsibility to protect you. I've told the police that I'm responsible for my employees and there is no need for them to check on my people. You can be sure that I will look out for you as you do your work.”
He ended by saying, “I've never said that Falun Gong is bad. I know that ‘Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance’ is of the highest realm.”
