Brussels: European Dignitaries Join Falun Gong at Events Protesting the Persecution
(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Belgium and Netherlands gathered in Brussels on April 27 to commemorate the 17th anniversary of April 25 Peaceful Protest in Beijing.
Practitioners held a demonstration in front of the Mission of China to the European Union in the morning with banners calling for an end to the persecution and urging Chinese officials to stop complying with the Communist Party's persecutory orders.
Former president of European Economic and Social Committee Mr. Henry Malosse and Director of Human Rights Without Frontiers Mr. Willy Fautre joined the second event in front of the European Parliament in the afternoon, expressing their support to stop forced organ harvesting and the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
Mr. Henry Malosse, former president of the European Economic and Social Committee, expressed his support and urged the EU to use “stronger words and a tougher stance” to pressure the Chinese communist regime to cease its crime of forcible organ harvesting.
“Organ harvesting is a very, very serious issue these years. Falun Gong is the foremost victims in this crime,” stated Mr. Willy Fautre, director of Human Rights Without Frontiers.
“Falun Gong practitioners are very peaceful people. They don't use violence and don't promote violence,” added Mr. Fautre. “They have created greater awareness in the places where they've held activities, including China and many other countries.”
