(Minghui.org) In every lecture, Master Li reminds us to hurry up and save sentient beings because time is very limited. So, no matter where I go, I always carry information about Falun Dafa with me. I find that, as long as I fill my heart with Fa principles, Master brings predestined people to me so that I can provide them with the truth about the persecution.
The Wife of a Police Officer
A few years ago, I got a job in a restaurant making noodle dishes. I was a dedicated employee and did my best to make good food. I talked to my coworkers about Falun Dafa and persuaded the manager, other employees, and their families to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). I also gave my manager a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. He and his neighbor took turns reading it. Afterwards, both came to realize just how badly the CCP has duped the Chinese people into going along with their crimes against humanity.
One day a police officer and his family came to the restaurant. It was around 2:00 p.m., and the employees were just sitting down to eat. The officer’s wife came over and complimented me on the bread I’d baked. I said it was the peanut oil that made it taste so delicious. She said that I was very modest and asked my age. I replied I was 62. She was surprised! The manager told her that practicing Falun Dafa made me look younger.
After I finished eating, I sat down next to the officer's wife and told her. “I used to suffer from many health problems, but after I started practicing Falun Dafa, they all disappeared. I haven’t taken any medication in 14 years.” She proceeded to ask me many questions, and I answered them all.
She then mentioned, “The head of the county 610 Office used to live in the same compound with us. He was in charge of persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. His wife died in a car accident, then he died when he tripped going into a restroom. I was shocked that both of them died so unexpectedly and wondered about that. I have wanted to know the truth about Falun Dafa ever since.”
I told her that Falun Dafa is a wonderful practice that is welcomed in over 100 countries, even though it is still being persecuted in China. I also brought up the 270 million-year-old “hidden words stone” found in Guizhou Province with the Chinese characters that read “The Chinese Communist Party Collapses.” I shared with her that the best way to protect oneself from future disaster was to renounce the CCP and its affiliated organizations. She agreed and quit the Party right away.
I offered to bring her informational materials about Falun Dafa next time she came in. She pleaded with me and said, “I cannot wait that long! Can you please go home and get them for me now? I have five major ailments, and I am supposed to get a cardiac examination at Qingdao Hospital in a few days.”
I took off my apron, went home, got the materials, and returned. She was very happy and kept thanking me. I told her, “No need to thank me, thank Master Li.” I also taught her to recite, “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
She visited the restaurant five days later and exclaimed, “I believe in Dafa; it is indeed wonderful!” She said she usually suffered from motion sickness and also had a painful herniated disk. On her way to the hospital, she kept reciting, “Falun Dafa is good,” and did not feel sick or experience any back pain.
Treasure the Limited Time and Save People
I read an article on the Minghui website that a practitioner had written about what she had seen with her celestial eye: “At 6 p.m. on December 4, while sending righteous thoughts, I saw Master in the universe. He was huge. A resounding voice announced, 'The time is up!'” I was worried afterwards. I knew I still had many attachments and had not saved as many predestined people as I could have. I ended up studying the Fa until 1:00 a.m., slept two hours, then woke up to do the exercises and study more.
After my intensive Fa study, I felt energized and wanted to do more to help save people. I ordered Falun Dafa calendars the next day and took them to every household in the village. As I walked from door to door, I talked with the residents and encouraged them to renounce the Party and repeat “Falun Dafa is good. I was somewhat afraid at first, then I remembered Master's words:
“Here, however, it is Dafa disciples that are to play the lead role. All beings are waiting for you to save them. They are providing you with circumstances in which to cultivate, and at the same time waiting for you to save them.” (“Dafa Disciples Must Study the Fa - Fa Teaching Given at the 2011 Washington DC Metro Area Fa Conference” from Teaching the Fa at the Conference XI)
I strengthened my righteous thoughts and confidently approached the remaining households. Things went well, and almost everyone I talked to withdrew from the Party.
One of the homes I went to was hosting a party. The head of the household was a local government official. I talked to them about the persecution and encouraged them to renounce the Party. They all withdrew from the CCP and asked me to stay. The official raised his wine glass and toasted my tea cup. He said the first glass was for the blessings and peace that I had brought to his family. The second glass was to support Falun Dafa practitioners.
One day I visited a home where the couple refused to listen and did not want to quit the Party. I said, “It’s no coincidence that we are neighbors.” I thought to myself about how I would regret it if one day disaster came, and I hadn’t been able to save them. I suddenly became tearful. When they witnessed my heartfelt wish to save them, they immediately agreed to quit the Party.
Not everything goes as smoothly as I would like, but the process of encouraging people to withdraw from the CCP is part of cultivation. So I treat everyone with compassion, regardless of their attitude towards me.
