(Minghui.org) My daughter-in-law ordered several sets of commemorative coins and bank notes last October, using my ID card.
In early March, I received a message on my phone notifying me to pick up the commemorative coins and bank notes at the end of the month. I looked at the date but didn't read the whole message thinking I would read it before I went to the bank. I accidentally deleted the message along with other messages a few days later.
When I went to the bank on March 31, the lobby was crowded and noisy and several people waited in line to pick up the commemorative notes and coins.
When it was my turn, I showed my ID card to the cashier and received 10 bank notes and 3 coins valued at 1030 yuan. The cashier didn't say anything so I went home.
That evening, my son gave me 1030 yuan saying it was for the commemorative notes and coins. I was surprised and said, “Why didn't the cashier ask me to pay for the notes and coins?”
I went to the bank the following morning after I bought a few vegetables at the market.
I asked the manager, “Was there a fee for the commemorative notes and coins?”
“Of course,” he said.
I smiled and told him that I came back to pay for the notes and coins I received yesterday.
The manager said they noticed the cash was missing last night. They reviewed the day's videos but couldn't find anything. In the end, the cashier had to pay for the deficit out of his own pocket.
I told the manager that I returned to give them the money because I was a Falun Dafa practitioner. I said we follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, that we try to be good people, and that we wouldn't take anything that did not belong to us.
The manager was moved. He suddenly turned to the people waiting in the lobby and exclaimed “Falun Dafa is wonderful! Falun Dafa is good! The security guard who overheard our conversation shouted, “Falun Dafa is good!”
The cashiers' supervisor held both my hands and sincerely thanked me. The manager and security guard also shook my hands and thanked me.
I said, “Every Falun Dafa practitioner would do as I did.”
