Additional Persecution News from China – April 6, 2016 (10 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, 1 Falun Gong practitioner was subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 12 were illegally arrested. Three practitioners were arrested for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator.

1. [Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Xu Genlin Detained

Mr. Xu Genlin was arrested at home by officers from the Gongshu District 610 Office on December 23, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. He is still detained at the Gongshu District Detention Center and is threatened with being put on trial.

Ms. Liu Xinxiang, 67, was arrested by officers from the Baiyunlu Police Station on March 16, 2016, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is detained at the Yuexiu District Detention Center.

3. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Jifang Detained

Ms. Li Jifang was arrested by officers from the Binnan Domestic Security Division on April 1, 2016, for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator. She was held in the Binhai Detention Center for 15 days. Her family was allowed to see her after having 900 yuan extorted from them.

Ms. Zhang Guizhi, Ms. Xu Meihua, and Ms. Dong Xiurong were arrested by officers from the Lixian Town Police Station on April 4, 2016.
