(Minghui.org) Yingying's (alias) father was persecuted to death for practicing Falun Gong. Her mother, Ms. Liu Xinying, has also been arrested and persecuted repeatedly.
Yingying filed a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin, the chief culprit in the persecution of Falun Gong, with the Supreme Procuratorate. Yingying was subsequently harassed by officers from the Zhongnanlu Police Station.
An officer from the Zhongnanlu Police Station called Yingying's grandfather to have her report to the station. The grandfather refused to obey the order.
Three police officers then went to Yingying's school to take her away in November 2015. The school refused to release her, so officers took her to a conference room to interrogate her. They questioned her about filing the criminal complaint and about her belief in Falun Gong. They tried to force her to sign a document, but she refused.
Family Persecution
Yingying’s father was tortured in the Dalian Brainwashing Center because he was a Falun Gong practitioner. He was beaten so severely that he became paralyzed. He passed away in February 2014, after being detained for 13 years.
Her mother Liu Xinying had been arrested five times before her husband's death. She was soon arrested again, and detained at the Dalian Detention Center. She was then transferred to the Shenyang Women's Prison.
Liu Xinying's health had deteriorated, and her blood pressure reached 220/120. When Ms. Liu's father went to the prison on several occasions to request a medical release, he was rejected each time.
Background
In 1999, Jiang Zemin, as head of the Chinese Communist Party, overrode other members of the Politburo Standing Committee and launched the violent suppression of Falun Gong.
The persecution has led to the deaths of many Falun Gong practitioners over the past 16 years. More have been tortured for their belief and even killed for their organs. Jiang Zemin is directly responsible for the inception and continuation of the brutal persecution.
Under his personal direction, the communist regime established an extralegal security organization, the 610 Office, on June 10, 1999. The organization overrides police forces and the judicial system in carrying out Jiang's directive regarding Falun Gong: to ruin their reputations, cut off their financial resources, and destroy them physically.
Chinese law allows its citizens to be plaintiffs in criminal cases, and many practitioners are now exercising that right to file criminal complaints against the former dictator.
