(Minghui.org) I went out with another Falun Dafa practitioner to distribute information on January 4, 2016. Carrying desk calendars and other materials with information about the persecution of Falun Dafa, we came to a village. Just after we started walking around, I looked up and saw a police vehicle coming toward us.
My fellow practitioner and I were not scared. We just got on our bikes and kept moving. The police vehicle started to follow us. One of the policemen yelled at us to stop, so we got off our bikes.
I approached the vehicle with kindness in my heart. “Why did you stop us?” I asked. “Time is pressing, and we need to spread the truth to save people.”
They asked us what was in our bags, and we explained it was information that could save people. Three policemen then got out of the vehicle. Two were in uniform, and the other was in plain clothes.
The policeman who was driving asked where we were from. I answered, “We are all from the earth.” He chuckled at my response, and I began to tell him about Falun Dafa. My fellow practitioner joined in here and there to drive the points home.
One of them asked more about the calendars we had. I opened one to let him see for himself. I said, “People practice Falun Dafa all over the world, in over 100 countries. Yet, the only place that doesn't allow it is here in China, under the communist dictatorship.
The plainclothes policeman repeated the word “dictatorship” and asked for a calendar.
I told them about corrupt officials who have received karmic retribution for persecuting Falun Dafa. I then listed the names of those corrupt officials that I thought they knew. I told them that they should stop participating in the persecution.
The policemen listened attentively and nodded in agreement.
My fellow practitioner went on to clear up their misconceptions of the self-immolation hoax staged on Tiananmen Square.
Just then, a policeman approached from another vehicle. I wondered if he was their supervisor. He said, “Where are they from?” The plainclothes officer answered, “They said they're from the earth.” This other officer did not look annoyed with us.
I walked up to him with compassion. “You are so young,” I said. “You should make sure to leave yourself a way out for the future. Don’t participate in persecuting the good people who practice Falun Dafa.”
He saw I was holding a desk calendar. He asked us to leave some calendars with them. Afterwards, we got on our bikes to continue looking for people in the village.
