(Minghui.org) Time is accelerated. For every practitioner and every sentient being waiting to be saved, time is extremely precious. If a practitioner wastes other practitioners' time, even unintentionally, we are being irresponsible to sentient beings and interfering with fellow practitioners.

I have noticed that there are three ways we may be unintentionally wasting fellow practitioners' time.

The most common one is when a practitioner needs to discuss a matter with another practitioner. However, when they go to the other practitioner's home, they spend a lot of time talking about irrelevant things. I have noticed that sometimes the person will chat on for hours before they bring up the real issue.

Another is spending too much time talking about experiences. Some practitioners have not truly made an effort to cultivate themselves, and they may be trapped in attachments for years. Instead of looking inward, they take up other practitioners' time discussing their tribulations.

In many cases, if they sincerely study the Fa they can easily see their shortcomings and the issue will easily be overcome.

Some practitioners are not working on any projects, have plenty of time to visit fellow practitioners and often stay for days. They have no issues to share and are not working on anything to help Dafa, but they have plenty of time to travel and occupy fellow practitioners' time.

I understand that it's necessary for fellow practitioners to talk about their cultivation experiences. However, their sharing must be based on the Fa and must get to the point. Circling around the issue is wasting time.

I know several practitioners who spend hours talking about irrelevant matters. Out of respect, I do not tell them that they are wasting my time. Instead, I find an excuse to leave. I believe it's more compassionate than simply sitting there and listening.

People say that, “Time is Money.” Time is also Dafa's valuable resource. Unless we are discussing urgent matters, we should not waste our fellow practitioners' time.
