(Minghui.org) Interference from “sickness karma” is a very serious issue. Every year, there are practitioners in my area who experience it, and some have lost their lives. It was a huge loss in offering salvation to sentient beings.
Some practitioners faced their tribulation with strong righteous thought, but some couldn't. The level of breakthrough depends on the individual’s cultivation.
For example, some practitioners experienced an improvement in their health as soon as they looked inward. For others, it took a long while to improve. Some looked inward every day, but the “sickness” didn't go away even after finding many attachments.
One understanding is that we should not allow any form of persecution, even though we have loopholes in our cultivation, because practitioners can't possibly eliminate all human notions during cultivation, and these notions will eventually be straightened out in the process of Fa-rectification.
In my opinion, we should believe that cultivators don't have illness. The thought of illnesses, such a colds, diabetes, strokes, cancer, etc., may appear as symptoms of diseases, but the roots of our illnesses have been eliminated by Master.
Isn't it a fundamental issue of believing in Master and the Fa?
Master said,
“The moment you say ‘health problem’ I don’t want to listen.” (Zhuan Falun)
Our mission is to offer salvation to sentient beings, and complete our cultivation. We should never acknowledge symptoms of “sickness,” as it's nothing but a false appearance.
Something grew on the face of a practitioner I know. When another practitioner asked her what it was, she said it was nothing. She gave the same answer to other people when they asked. The growth disappeared soon after. Her response had denied any “sickness karma” because it was essentially a false appearance. But if she had acknowledged it, it may have become real in this dimension. It's very important to deny interference as soon as it happens.
The so-called “sickness karma” is persecution by the old forces, because they don't want us to reach consummation. They persecute us with the goal of destroying sentient beings. We must completely deny the old forces in our actions and in our minds.
We shouldn't say this practitioner got this illness or that illness. We shouldn't even mention these words.
We have to cultivate ourselves well in everyday life, improve our levels, and meet the requirements of the Fa. Master will help us eliminate any form of persecution when we have righteous thoughts and actions.
