(Minghui.org) My son is a cargo ship sailor for an international shipping company and he travels around the world on the ship.
Last year when he came home during the Chinese New Year, he grabbed my hands as soon as he entered the door. “Thank you, Mom!” he said. “All the other crew members on the ship also asked me to thank you!”
I was confused and asked him what had happened.
He told me that during a recent trip, their ship was suddenly hit by strong wind gusts and churning waves in waters off Australia. The waves battered the ship and rocked it up and down. Bottles fell from the table and rolled around on the ground. The crew was very nervous.
The waves were so high that the vessel could have easily capsized.
My son suddenly remembered the amulet I gave him last time when he was home. He felt strong energy surging through his body, which compelled him to go to the top deck of the ship. In the strong wind he struggled to stand. He shouted, “Fa-Lun-Da-Fa-Is-Great!”
The wind seemed to lessen a bit. He shouted again, “Falun Dafa is great!” The wind weakened even more. He held on to a pillar on the boat, stood up, and continued to shout “Falun Dafa is great! Falun Dafa is great!” The wind weakened much more and the waves went away.
As the sea gradually calmed, the rudder started working again. My son was extremely excited and he came back to the cabin and shouted to his colleagues, “Falun Dafa saved us!”
After my son told me the story, I felt really touched. Both of us felt so grateful for Master for saving the ship and all the crew.
