Additional Persecution News from China – December 13, 2015 (Part II, 15 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 1 Falun Gong practitioner was subjected to mistreatment during detention, and at least 35 were illegally arrested and detained. At least 6 practitioners seeking to mail letters of complaint regarding Jiang Zemin to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme Court have been held in brainwashing centers or detained for up to two weeks, or harassed at home. Four practitioners were sentenced to prison.

Ms. Li Caifeng was arrested by officers from Wandong Police Department on December 12, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator.

2. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Mr. Fu Yonglin Arrested

Mr. Fu Yonglin was arrested by officers from Dazhangzi Township Police Station on December 11, 2015, for distributing informational calendars about the persecution of Falun Gong.

3. [Chongqing] Ms. Guo Hongying Detained

Ms. Guo Hongying was arrested by officers from Shenglilu Residential Office on December 10, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. She is detained in Jishanpo Brainwashing Center.

4. [Tianjin] Ms. Liu Xilan Detained

Ms. Liu Xilan, 50, was arrested by officers from Donghai Police Station and Donghaijie Residential Office on December 7, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. She was detained in Caozhuangzi Detention Center in the Xiqing District for 15 days.

5. [Jiayu County, Hubei Province] Ms. Luo Mingzhi Held in Brainwashing Center

Ms. Luo Mingzhi was transferred to Banqiao Brainwashing Center in Wuhan City from Xianning Brainwashing Center.

Ms. Xu Hongmin and Ms. Wu Qun, arrested in the Jiangbei District on November 19, 2015, are detained in Qianzhugou Brainwashing Center.

Ms. Xu Zhongrong and Ms. Fu Faqiong, arrested at home in early December 2015, are detained.

8. [Suizhong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Sufang and Ms. Zhang Yanli Arrested

Ms. Wang Sufang was arrested at home by officers from Suizhong County Police Department on November 26, 2015.

Ms. Zhang Yanli was arrested and had her home ransacked on December 7, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator.

9. [Binzhou City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Liu Xiaoqu, Ms. Li Shufen, and Mr. Wu Baoyu were arrested on December 11, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

10. [Ye County, Henan Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhang Xianghua and her son, daughter-in-law, and daughter were arrested by Ye County Police Department officers on December 11, 2015. Her daughter was released.

11. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Fujun Arrested

Mr. Li Fujun was arrested by Zhuhailu Police Station officers on December 10, 2015.

12. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Ye Fengqun Detained

Ms. Ye Fengqun was arrested at home by officers from Jiedao Police Station in Haizhu District and 610 Office on December 9, 2015. The police ransacked her home. She was taken to Nanzhou Detention Center.

13. [Huantai County, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhang Kuifu Sent to Prison

Huantai County Court illegally sentenced Mr. Zhang Kuifu to seven years in prison on November 14, 2015. He was taken to Shandong Provincial Prison in Qilihe on November 26.

Mr. Zhang was arrested on March 23, 2015, for talking to people about Falun Gong and the persecution. The local police ransacked his home and took him to the Huantai County Detention Center. He was tried in the county court on November 5. His lawyer was not present to defend him, because the judge had intimidated him prior to the trial and he bowed to the judge's order.

14. [Beijing] Two Practitioners Detained

Two residents of the Pinggu District were arrested on December 6 after being reported to the police for talking to some villagers about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Zhang Yuhong and Ms. Yang Xiaofeng are now in the Pinggu District Detention Center.

Prior to this latest arrest, Ms. Yang had been arrested a total of seven times over the years for refusing to give up Falun Gong. She was given forced labor three times, having spent more than 4 years in a local labor camp. While in detention, she was tortured and abused, including being brutally force fed and injected with unknown drugs.

Her family couldn't stand the pressure from the authorities and distanced themselves from her. Ms. Yang had to move from place to place each time she was released.

Ms. Zhang's husband is also a Falun Gong practitioner. He was arrested in late 2009 and given two years of forced labor. The couple's home was also ransacked.

15. [Pinggu District, Beijing] Many Practitioners Detained

Many practitioners in the Pinggu District have been arrested and detained for telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

Ma Zhanquan, Jia Fengzhi, and Wang Fujian were sentenced to prison for distributing calendars bearing messages about Falun Gong, with Ma and Jia given two years, and Wang seven-and-half years.

Mr. Ma's son Mr. Ma Jian was sentenced to six months this past July.

Tian Shurong, Zhang Zhiyun, Wang Xiangxu, Zhang Ailing, and Zhang Aidi were each detained for more than a month this year.

Hua Wanlai was arrested on July 13 and returned home on August 18.

Tian Shurong, Zhang Zhiyun, Wang Xiangxu, Zhang Ailing, and Zhang Aidi were each detained for more than a month this year.

Zhang Yuhong and Yang Xiaofeng were arrested on December 6 and are currently in the Pinggu Detention Center.

In addition to the above arrests, the local police also harassed practitioners who filed lawsuits against Jiang Zemin. Both Zhang Jiuhai and Liu Yaping received unexpected police visits in late October. The officers admitted they were just carrying out orders when the two practitioners emphasized their constitutional right to sue Jiang.
