(Minghui.org) A local police officer came to my home on November 4, 2015 regarding a criminal complaint I had filed against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) who started the persecution of Falun Gong.
I was a little hostile towards the officer at first and was unfriendly towards him. I took a step back and realized that he came to listen to my explanation of the persecution of Falun Gong. I then treated him compassionately.
I told him about the benefits I received from practicing Falun Gong, the crimes of Jiang's persecution, and the Party's deceiving propaganda. I explained to him that the corrupt officials being arrested and imprisoned are getting retribution for following Jiang in the persecution.
I said to him, “Don't be a scapegoat. Nowadays, many people know Falun Gong is innocent. Falun Gong practitioners' lawsuits against Jiang are a good thing for everyone.”
The police officer responded, “Falun Gong is the hope of all mankind!”
I was delighted that he understood the truth of the persecution.
Passersby Know Falun Gong Is Great
Many people attended an annual fair in Shandong Province last November. Local Falun Gong practitioners took advantage of the opportunity to raise awareness of the persecution and to encourage people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
I walked up to a young man around 30-years-old and gave him a Falun Gong brochure. He said without hesitation, “I don't read any Falun Gong information materials.”
Another young man passed by at that moment and heard the first man's words. He asked the young man who refused me, “Why don't you take it? The CCP is so corrupt. I am a veteran and was a Party member. I understand the corruption very well, so I quit the Party. Falun Gong informational materials are very well done.”
A middle-aged woman also passed by and joined the conversation, “The brochure contains information to ask you to do good deeds. There is nothing bad in it.” She returned after walking a few steps, “You must read it! These people aren’t asking you for anything. They are only doing this for your good. You must read it carefully!”
Listening to the passersby, the young man who refused me initially was touched. He accepted my brochure. I further explained to him how to withdraw from the Party for a safe future. He agreed to quit the Party and its affiliated organizations without hesitation.
