(Minghui.org) After I began to practice Falun Dafa, my family experienced many blessings from Dafa.
A Dangerous Situation Changes
My husband drives a taxi. One winter day a heavy snow fell in our area, and a regular customer of my husband needed a ride. It was slick outside and people were advised to stay off the roads. My husband was about to turn him down, but since he was a regular customer, he accepted the job.
He came to a downhill road that stretched over a mile long, when the car brakes failed, and the speed of the car increased. My husband was scared but did not want to cause his customer to panic, and so he did his best to appear calm.
He then remembered how I often told him to repeat, “Falun Dafa is Good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is Good,” with respect and sincerity in his heart. He began repeating those words silently to himself. In the midst of this, the car suddenly stopped—just before reaching a cliff.
Since that day my husband believes in the power of Dafa more than ever. In the past he worried about me when I was out telling people about Falun Dafa, but now he understands the importance of it and is very supportive of me.
My Sons Both Benefit
We have two sons, and the oldest one reached the age where he wanted to get married and settle down. These days, all the girls want to marry someone who owns a home and a car, and whose parents are government employees.
We are not a wealthy family and live off my husband's income from his taxi business. We also have the added expense of two children attending the university. Since my husband has recognized Dafa and started supporting me in telling others about Falun Dafa, our family has truly benefited.
While we were worrying about whether our oldest son could buy a house, suddenly our village was about to transform and move into new buildings. Without spending a penny, my two old homes were replaced by three sets of new apartment units. Meanwhile, my oldest son found a job at a large state-owned enterprise with a good income. Because of this good fortune, our son now has a home and can afford a car.
When our youngest son was in primary school, his grades were only average, and one of his brother's teachers even commented that he was not as smart as his brother. My son then began practicing Falun Dafa with me, and his performance in school improved. When he began secondary school the class teacher remarked how his grades were excellent. The school was even planning to let him join the national physics contest, representing the city.
My Son Refuses to Join Communist Organization
The school requested every student to join the Communist Youth League. One day my son's teacher asked who in class was not a Youth League member. Our son raised his hand, and the teacher asked him why he had not joined. He replied: “I heard from my parents that in the Communist Party, the top officials perform large corruptions while the lower officials perform minor ones. The Communist Party is too corrupt and too dark. It is too shameful to join its organizations, and that was why I did not join.” His teacher never brought up the subject again.
He later received one of the two highest scores in school on the college entrance examination. Because of his high score, he entered a national key university in the capital city of the province. When he graduated, the university guaranteed he could carry on his education at a key university to earn his Masters degree and Ph.D. Last year, he went abroad to take part in an international symposium, representing his university.
The Buddha light shines on my family. My family is grateful to Falun Dafa. They believe that Falun Dafa is good!
