(Minghui.org) When I woke up on the evening of December 31, 2015, I could not move. I was not at home, so I immediately called my wife. She told me to remain calm and think that I would be all right.
I began to recover, so my relatives took me to a hospital. It was 4 a.m. by the time I finished an intravenous infusion. When I returned home, my wife told me that Falun Dafa's founder, Master Li Hongzhi, had saved me.
After I had called her, my wife kept sending forth righteous thoughts and asked Master to help me. I realized that must have been true, since I was too weak to put on my clothes at that time.
My wife had often clarified the truth about Falun Dafa to me and told me about Dafa's principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
This time she persuaded me to submit a solemn declaration to the Minghui website to apologize to Master and practitioners for the wrongdoings I have done to them.
Acceptance of Falun Dafa
My wife and mother-in-law began to practice Dafa in hopes of curing their illnesses. When I married my wife, my mother-in-law relied on daily medication for her various ailments. But after she practiced Dafa, she recovered.
My wife saw that Dafa was good and began to cultivate. Within only 10 days, her health was restored as well. At that time I supported their decision to cultivate.
Slanderous Propaganda
When the Chinese Communist regime initiated its persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners, my wife was targeted and mistreated. That scared me. Not only that, the wave after wave of abuse visited upon my once peaceful family affected my mind.
At that time I was not clear why the evil regime persecuted Falun Dafa. I eventually bought into the slanderous propaganda and started to resent my wife and mother-in-law. I even punched my mother-in-law in the face. I did something I was not supposed to do, and my mother-in-law was forced to leave our unstable home.
When my wife faced persecution, I cursed and beat her when she refused to comply with my demands. I even slandered Master and committed other wrongdoings against Master and Dafa.
Solemn Declaration: Make up for Harm Caused
In spite of this, Master saved me from the brink of death when I encountered my own tribulation. My wife often says, "When one person cultivates Falun Dafa, the whole family benefits."
Over the years, I did not speak up for Dafa and Master. On the contrary, I damaged Dafa and hurt my wife and mother-in-law.
But Master saved me. I truly thank him from the bottom of my heart. I hereby solemnly declare, “From now on, I will support Falun Dafa and make up for the harm I caused.”
