(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 26 cities or counties in 12 provinces. According to this report, 12 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 48 were illegally arrested.

1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Li Sentenced to Prison

The Shuangcheng District Court held a trial on November 19, 2015 and sentenced Ms. Liu Li to five years in prison. Ms. Liu has appealed the sentence with the Harbin Intermediate Court.

2. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Zhang Yizhou and his wife Ms. Wang Junfeng, from Manzituo Village, Xugezhuang Town, Fengnan District, were arrested by Sun Hongguang and officers from the Xugezhuang Police Station on December 25, 2015. The couple was taken to the police station.

Ms. Xiao Zuozhi and Ms. Hu Yujie were also arrested on the same day.

3. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xiao Chengrong Detained for Suing Jiang Zemin

Ms. Xiao Chengrong from Lianshan Town was arrested by officers from the Lianshan Town Police Station on December 23, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese communist regime. She was detained in the Guanghan Detention Center.

4. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Chenxue Detained

Officers from the Yingmenkou Police Station broke into Ms. Liu Chenxue's home on Yinshaheng Street on December 22, 2015 and arrested 14 practitioners. Ms. Liu was taken to a detention center while the other practitioners returned home.

5. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Lu Shengtao Detained for Suing Jiang Zemin

Ms. Lu Shengtao was arrested by officers from the Xiangyang Town Police Station on December 25, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. She was detained in the Guanghan City Detention Center.

6. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ding Fengzhen Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Ding Fengzhen was arrested on December 20, 2015. Her whereabouts are unknown.

7. [Beijing] Several Practitioners Detained

Ms. Yang Xiaofeng has been held for 18 days.Ms. Cao Jinfeng has been held for 29 days for suing Jiang Zemin.Ms. Ma Fengzhi has been held for eight months.Ms. Li Zongxia has been held for a month for suing Jiang Zemin.Ms. Wang Xiuying was sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in prison. She has been taken to a prison.

8. [Yidu City, Hunan Province] Mr. Zhao Jucai Detained

Mr. Zhao Jucai was arrested on December 22, 2015. His home was ransacked. He is held in the Yidu City Detention Center.

9. [Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Mr. He Fengwei Detained

Mr. He Fengwei from Qiuzigou Township was arrested by officers from the Suizhong County Domestic Security Division and the Qiuzigou Township Police Station on December 21, 2015. He is held in the Suizhong Detention Center.

10. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Shi Yankun Detained

Mr. Shi Yankun was arrested at home by officers from the Zhanqian Police Station, Tiefeng District, on November 26, 2015. He is detained in the Qiqihar No. 1 Detention Center.

11. [Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Zhongying and Ms. Zhang Ailian Detained

Ms. Sun Zhongying, 62, and Ms. Zhang Ailian, in her 50s, were arrested by officers from the Wenhualu Police Station for posting Falun Gong informational materials on December 22, 2015. Both practitioners are held in the Yuelou Detention Center.

12. [Longde County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Mr. Fan Guofu Arrested

Mr. Fan Guofu was recently arrested by officers from the Longde County Police Department.

13. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Tang Jianping Detained

Mr. Tang Jianping, who had been detained for 15 days, was taken to the Peng'an Detention Center by officers from the Nanchong Domestic Security Division on December 21, 2015.

14. [Beijing] Mr. Liu Jirong Detained for Suing Jiang Zemin

Mr. Liu Jirong, from Hanhaozhuang Village, Zhangshanying Town, Yanqing County, was arrested by officers from the Zhangshanying Town Police Station on December 17, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. He was detained in the Haidian Detention Center for 13 days.

15. [Beijing] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Che Yanqin, in her 50's, employed by Yanqing Heating Supplies, was arrested by a police assistant for mailing letters with Falun Gong content on December 20, 2015. She was taken to the Haidian Brainwashing Center.

Officers from the Yanqing Domestic Security Division and the Yanqing Police Station arrested Ms. Zuo Huiying on December 21, 2015. Ms. Zuo was taken to the Changping Detention Center. She did not pass the physical exam and returned home that evening.

Ms. Zhao Yuxia, who works at the same place, was also arrested, and released later.

16. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Chunxia Detained

Ms. Liu Chunxai, from Xijie Village, Ciyutuo Town, Luan County, was arrested by officers from the Ciyutuo Police Station on the afternoon of December 26, 2015. She is held in the Luan County Detention Center.

17. [Yishui County, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Mr. Liu Qingxiang, Ms. Guo Fengmei, and Ms. Li Li went to Quanli Town to distribute Falun Gong informational materials on the afternoon of December 24, 2015. They were arrested by police officers from the Quanli Police Station. The three practitioners are held in the Yinan County Detention Center.

18. [Jiansanjiang, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Jiang Xinbo Arrested

Ms. Jiang Xinbo from the Qianjin Farm High School in the Jiansanjiang area was arrested on December 24, 2015. The police ransacked her home and confiscated a computer and a cell phone.

19. [Lintao County, Gansu Province] Mr. Wang Yalong and Ms. Sang Xiaochun Detained

Mr. Wang Yalong and Ms. Sang Xiaochun from Lintao County, Dingxi City, were recently arrested. Both practitioners are held in the Lintao County Detention Center.

20. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Liang Wende Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Liang Wende was arrested by officers from the Nancheng Police Station, Jiangyang District, on December 25, 2015. He was taken to the police station. His whereabouts are unknown.

21. [Beijing] Ms. Li Xiaoping Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Li Xiaoping from the Fuyuan Community in Daxing District was arrested by officers from the Qingyuanlu Police Station for posting Falun Gong informational materials in mid-April 2015. She was secretly sentenced to two years in prison. She has appealed.

22. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Mr. Xu Jiangjie from Fate Town was arrested by officers from the Shulan City 610 Office; Dong Changchun, deputy director, Fate Police Station, and other officers on December 23, 2015.

Mr. Sun Longfei and Mr. Chen Zuoyun from Fate Town were also arrested on the same day by officers from the local police station. The three practitioners were taken to the Nanshan Detention Center.

23. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Tan Guibo and Another Practitioner Detained

Mr. Tan Guibo, from Sunjiazhuang Village, Tangezhuang Town, Laiyang City, and another practitioner, whose name is not known, were arrested on December 22, 2015. They are held in the Laiyang City Detention Center.

24. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Yang Ruihuan Detained

Officers from the Shennong Police Station in Weibin District broke into Ms. Yang Ruihuan's home and arrested her on December 25, 2015. They ransacked her home and confiscated printed Falun Gong materials. She was taken to the police station. She is held in the Baoji City No. 2 Detention Center.

25. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Junling Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Liu Junling was arrested on December 23, 2015. She was held in the Yaojia Detention Center. She was recently transferred to a brainwashing center for forced “transformation”.

26. [Maanshan City, Anhui Province] Mr. Xia Junhua Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Xia Junhua, a teacher, was put on trial in December 2015. He was sentenced to two years in prison. He is held in the Maanshan Detention Center.

27. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Gu Xueqiong Detained

Ms. Gu Xueqiong from Guanghan City was arrested by officers from the Xinping Town Police Station on the morning of December 23, 2015. She was detained in the Guanghan Detention Center for 10 days.

28. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Mr. He Qinghong Suffered Cerebral Thrombosis Due to Abuse

Mr. He Qinghong was arrested by officers from the Dehui City Domestic Security Division on November 27, 2015. He was detained for 15 days in the Dehui City Detention Center. During his detention Mr. He was diagnosed with cerebral thrombosis due to abuse. At the time, he was not able to speak, move half of his body, or think clearly. He was taken to a hospital and stayed there for 15 days. Currently one of his hands and legs do not function properly. He reacts rather slowly, and cannot take care of himself.

Ms. Xia Cuilan went to the Longcheng Police Station to get her new identification card on December 23, 2015. She was arrested and is held in the Pengze County Detention Center.

Ms. Dai Huanru and four practitioners were arrested and taken to the Chengguan Police Station for talking to people about Falun Gong on December 25, 2015.

Ms. Zhang Alian was arrested by people on her way home on December 21, 2015 on orders of the Jurong City 610 Office.

32. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Xincheng Detained

Mr. Wang Xincheng and his non-practitioner wife were arrested by officers from the Dehui City Domestic Security Division on December 24, 2015 for telling people about Falun Gong. The officers confiscated Falun Gong books and six cell phones. His wife was released that afternoon. Mr. Wang was taken to a detention center.

33. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wang Tian Detained for Suing Jiang Zemin

Ms. Wang Tian was arrested by officers from the Yuhuatai Police Station on December 14, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. She was held in the Nanjing City Detention Center for 10 days.
