Additional Persecution News from China – December 25, 2015 (25 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 23 cities or counties in 12 provinces. According to this report, 10 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 47 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Qingtongxia City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Chen Chen Arrested

Ms. Chen Chen, a teacher, was arrested in her classroom by police on the morning of December 22, 2015. The officers later confiscated her Falun Dafa books, printed materials, and a printer. Ms. Chen's current whereabouts are unknown.

2. [Xinyi City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Sun Meng Detained

Ms. Sun Meng was arrested by officers from the police department on December 10, 2015. The officers confiscated a computer, a printer, and printed materials. She was taken to a detention center.

3. [Jintang County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yi Youfeng Arrested

Ms. Yi Youfeng was arrested by officers from the Jintang County Domestic Security Division and the Xixian Township Police Station at noon on September 8, 2015. The officers ransacked her home. She has returned home.

4. [Jiaozuo City, Henan Province] Five Practitioners Detained

Ms. Cai Ju, Mr. Zheng Jun, Ms. Zhang Shuai, Ms. Xiao Fang and Ms. Da Qing were arrested by officers from the Wen County Police Department and the Domestic Security Division on the afternoon on December 7, 2015. They were detained for 15 days.

5. [Jiaozuo City, Henan Province] Ms. Du Farong Arrested

Ms. Du Farong was arrested by officers from the police department and personnel from the Political and Legal Affairs Committee on December 9, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin.

6. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wu Xiujing Detained

Ms. Wu Xiujing from Huanggezhuang Village in Fengnan District was arrested by the police on the morning of December 24, 2015. She was taken to the Fengnan District Detention Center.

7. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Shifeng and Husband Mr. Wang Yushan Detained

Ms. Wang Shifeng and her husband Mr. Wang Yushan were arrested by officers from the Jiangnan Police Department on the morning of December 23, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. Both were detained for five days.

8. [Baoqing County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhou Fa's Family Arrested

Mr. Zhou Fa and his wife from Xiaochengzi Town were arrested by Qi Wen, head of the Baoqing County Domestic Security Division, and Zhang Peng, a residential police officer from the Fushan Township Police Station, on December 23, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. Their son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter, who is not yet one year old, were also arrested. The elderly couple were taken to the Baoqing Detention Center. The other three were released that afternoon.

9. [Jixian County, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Placed in Criminal Detention

Mr. Yu Yuebo, Ms. Sun Lijuan, Ms. Qi Hongyu, and Mr. Quan Zhandong, from Fulitun Village, were arrested by officers from the Yong'an Township Police Station while they were distributing Falun Gong informational materials in Yong'an Township on the morning of December 21, 2015. The four practitioners were detained in the Jixian County Detention Center. Mr. Yu's home was ransacked. His car was impounded.

10. [Linzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Jieqing and Ms. Yuan Fuxian Detained

Ms. Li Jieqing was arrested and taken to the Linzhou Detention Center by officers from the Linzhou City Domestic Security Division and the Guilin Police Station on the morning of the December 23, 2015.

At the same time, Ms. Yuan Fuxian was also arrested and taken to Linzhou Detention Center by officers from the Linzhou City Domestic Security Division and the Kaiyuan Police Station.

11. [Tianjin] Ms. Zhang Hongyan Detained

Ms. Zhang Hongyan, from Yelugezhuang Village, Wangbuzhuang Town, Baodi District, was arrested by officers from the Wangbuzhuang Town Police Station when she was handing out desk calendars with Falun Gong content in Baisiwo Village, Wangbuzhuang Town, on the morning of December 22, 2015. Ms. Zhang is held in the Baodi Distinct Detention Center for 10 days of detention.

12. [Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Xu Genlin Arrested

Mr. Xu Genlin from the Tianducheng area in the Yuhang District was arrested by officers from local police stations in Gongshu and Yuhang Districts on December 23, 2015. His current whereabouts are unknown.

13. [Rizhao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Cong Guiping Arrested

Ms. Cong Guiping was arrested by officers from the Kuishan Police Station in the Rizhao Economic Development Zone when she was giving out desk calendars with Falun Gong content at a farm market on December 21, 2015.

14. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Li Yongjiu Arrested

Mr. Li Yongjiu from Pengzhou City was arrested and taken to the Tianpeng Town Police Station when he was distributing Falun Gong informational materials on December 23, 2015. His home was ransacked.

15. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Five Practitioners Detained

Ms. Xiao Weiwie, Ms. Jin Meizi, Ms. Niu Yafen, Ms. Zhao Pengyan, and Ms. Zhao Shuyu were arrested by officers from the Quannong Police Station when they were talking to people about Falun Gong on October 14, 2014. They were detained in the Weizigou Lockup for 14 days. Afterwards, They were transferred to the detention center for continued custody. After one month in custody, Ms. Jin, and two Ms. Zhao were released after each being extorted 10,000 yuan.

On August 10, 2015 Ms. Xiao was sentenced to three years in prison and Ms. Niu to four years. Both were taken to prison on November 23, 2015.

16. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Qin Jiamin Detained

Ms. Qin Jiamin was arrested by officers from the Xigao Town Police Station on the morning of December 24, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. She was detained for 15 days.

17. [Meihekou City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Yan Severely Abused in Prison

Ms. Zhang Yan was severely abused in the Jilin Province Women's Prison.

18. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Yingping Detained

Ms. Liu Yingping was arrested by officers from the Xianfeng Police Station on December 10, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. She was held in the Linqing Detention Center. She has returned home.

20. [Foshan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Yanming Detained

Ms. Li Yanming from Shunde District was arrested by officers from the Nanguolu Police Station, Daliang Subdistrict, Shunde District, when she was talking to people about Falun Gong on November 14, 2015. She has been held in the Shunde Detention Center.

21. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Jia Zhanhua Arrested

Ms. Jia Zhanhua was arrested by officers from the Xiaonanxinbao Town Police Station in Huailai County on December 24, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. She was taken to Zhangjiakou City.

22. [Beijing] Ms. Zhang Yuhong and Ms. Yang Xiaofeng Detained

Ms. Zhang Yuhong and Ms. Yang Xiaofeng from Pinggu District were arrested by officers from the Pinggu District Police Department and the Zhenluoying Police Station when they were distributing Falun Gong informational materials in Shangzhen Village in Zhenluoying Town on December 6, 2015. Ms. Zhang was detained in the Pinggu Detention Center. Ms. Yang was taken to the Tongzhou District Detention Center.

23. [Yichang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xiang Wenlan Arrested

Ms. Xiang Wenlan from Xiaoxita Town in Yiling District was arrested in Yichang City on December 21, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin.
