Additional Persecution News from China – December 18, 2015 (Part II, 14 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 2 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 16 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Lulong County, Hebei Province] Mr. Dai Zhongmin and Ms. Zheng Yanhua Sentenced to Prison

The Lulong County Court sentenced Mr. Dai Zhongmin to seven years in prison and Ms. Zheng Yanhua to three years on December 14, 2015.

2. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Zhilian Detained

Ms. Chen Zhilian from Pingxing Township in the Shizhong District was arrested on November 10, 2015, by officers from the Linjiang Police Station, led by Hu Tailin, head of the Pingxing Township 610 Office. Her home was ransacked, and she was held in the Shizhushan Detention Center for 37 days. She has since returned home.

3. [Qianxi County, Hebei Province] Ms. Chai Junxia Detained

Ms. Chai Junxia was arrested on December 14, 2015, by officers from Qianxi County Domestic Security Division and the Xinzhuangzi Police Station, and taken to the Domestic Security Division. She was later taken to the Tangshan City No. 1 Detention Center.

4. [Leizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Huang Lian Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Huang Lian from Jijia Town was arrested by officers led by head of the Leizhou City Domestic Security Division on December 15, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated two computers, four printers, two sound recorders, Falun Dafa books, Shen Yun DVDs, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and some paper bills with Falun Gong content printed on them. Ms. Huang was held in the Zhanjiang City Brainwashing Center.

5. [Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Kong Qingfang Arrested

Ms. Kong Qingfang was arrested by police on December 14, 2015. Her whereabouts are unknown.

6. [Binzhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Guifang Detained

Ms. Sun Guifang from Tiejiang Village, Laodian Township, Yangxin County, was arrested by officers from the Yangxin County Domestic Security Division recently for suing Jiang Zemin. She is being held in the Yangxin County Detention Center for 15 days.

7. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Mr. Zhou Wei Arrested

Officers from the Qilihe District Domestic Security Division and the Jianlan Road Police Station said that they had to check the water meter as an excuse to break into Mr. Zhou Wei's home on December 10, 2501. They arrested Mr. Zhou and confiscated a notebook computer and printed materials. Mr. Zhou was placed under administrative detention for ten days. The detention center refused to admit him as his blood pressure read as high as 220 mmHg. He returned home that night.

8. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Ms. Zeng Ziping Detained

Ms. Zeng Ziping, in her sixties, was arrested by officers from the Yuhua District Police Department and the Jingwanzi Police Station on December 7, 2015. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated a computer and a printer. Ms. Zeng is being held in the Changqiao No. 4 Detention Center.

9. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xiao Hua Detained

Ms. Xiao Hua was arrested on December 4, 2015 by Zhang Cheng, Yan Jun, and other officers from the Huagong Police Station. She was handcuffed and taken to the Harbin City Detention Center for ten days of detention.

10. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Hankui Detained

Mr. Wang Hankui was arrested by officers from the Baijia Village on December 15, 2015. She was detained for five days.

11. [Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Jiang Xiaoming and Husband Mr. Guo Changwei Arrested

Ms. Jiang Xiaoming and her husband Mr. Guo Changwei were arrested at home on the morning of December 10, 2015, by plainclothes officers from the Pengjiang Domestic Security Division, for suing Jiang Zemin. The officers confiscated a computer and other electronic devices. The couple returned home that day.

12. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Li Guihua, her husband, Ms. Wang Shifen, and Ms. Wang's daughter-in-law, all from Xiamatun Village, were arrested on December 15, 2015 by local police. Ms. Li's husband was beaten and force-fed chili pepper water before being released the following day. The whereabouts of the other three practitioners are unknown.

13. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Yang Yankai Detained

Mr. Yang Yankai from Ci County was arrested on December 11, 2015, by Wang Haibin, deputy head of the Ci County Domestic Security Division, and other officers, for suing Jiang Zemin. The officers took Mr. Yang to the division to make a recorded statement and to take blood samples. He was taken to the Ci County Detention Center for 15 days of detention.

Ms. Chi Shuling from Shixian Town was arrested on December 17, 2015, at her rental home in Yanji City, by officers from the Yanji City Police Department.
