(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 33 cities or counties in 15 provinces. According to this report, 31 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 37 were illegally arrested.

1. [Jiaozuo City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Guilian Detained

Director Xu Yingxin and officer Hai Geng from the Sujiazuo Police Station broke into Ms. Li Guilian's home on December 4, 2015. They ransacked it and confiscated a DVD burner, several DVDs, and Falun Gong books. She was arrested and is held in the Jiaozuo City Detention Center.

Ms. Zhao Yapeng and Ms. Cao Shulian were arrested on November 25, 2015, by officers from the Xinzhan Police Station for handing out desk calenders with Falun Gong content. She is in the Tonghua City Detention Center. She was placed under administrative detention on December 8.

Ms. Wang Xiaorong was arrested on December 4, 2015. She was taken to the Shengzhuang Detention Center for 10 days of detention.

4. [Dengta City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested for Suing Jiang Zemin

Mr. Qu Luqing, Ms. Li Chunyan, and Ms. Chen Liyan from Tong'erpu Town were arrested by Tong'erpu Police Station officers when they mailed their lawsuits against Jiang Zemin in the Tong'erpu Town Post Office. The three were taken to the Liaoyang City Detention Center and the Dengta City Detention Center.

5. [Gaobeidian City, Hebei Province] Mr. Dong Haiyuan Detained

Mr. Dong Haiyuan was arrested on November 25, 2015. He is now in the Baoding Detention Center.

6. [Changzhi City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Chen Xiaozhi Sentenced to Four Years in Prison

Ms. Chen Xiaozhi was reported for talking to people about Falun Gong on June 13, 2015. The Lucheng City Court held a hearing on October 10. Ms. Chen's family was notified on November 3 that she was sentenced to four years in prison.

7. [Tianjin] Mr. Xing Junjie Taken into Police Custody for Suing Jiang Zemin

Zhou Zhenhui and two police officers broke into Mr. Xing Junjie's home and took him and his family to the police station on December 7, 2015. They claimed that it had to do with the fact that he had filed a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated three computers, a DVD burner, 400 Falun Gong desk calendars, and Falun Gong books. His family was released on December 8. Mr. Xing was detained in the police station.

8. [Shizuishan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Yang Tianyun Detained

Three or four security officers from the Dawukou District broke into Ms. Yang Tianyun's home and arrested her on November 25, 2015. They ransacked her home and confiscated Shen Yun DVDs. Ms. Yang is in the Dawukou Detention Center.

9. [Zhoukou City, Henan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Li Chunmei and Ms. Meng Li were arrested on December 4, 2015. Ms. Li was released that day. Ms. Meng was taken to the Shangshui Detention Center.

Mr. Li Chao, a driver with the Zhoukou City Highway Bureau, was arrested. His home was ransacked.

10. [Hulin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhao Xiujie Arrested for Suing Jiang Zemin

Liu Hao and other police officers broke into Ms. Zhao Xiujie's home and arrested her on December 2, 2015. She was taken to the Hulin City Domestic Security Division for interrogation about her lawsuit against Jiang Zemin. She was later released.

Ms. Liu Aiying, 70, from the Qingdao Development Zone was arrested by officers from the Xin'an Police Station in the Huangdao District for talking to people about Falun Gong on the morning of December 7, 2015.

12. [Huainan Anhui Province] Ms. Ma Haiyun, Her Husband, and Other Practitioners Detained; the Whereabouts of Several Unknown

Ms. Ma Haiyun, her husband, and fellow practitioners were taken to the Guoqing Road Police Station on the morning of November 30, 2015. They were interrogated about their lawsuits against Jiang Zemin. The officers ordered them to sign guarantee statements to renounce Falun Gong. The officers threatened the practitioners that they would be detained if they refused to sign the documents. Ms. Ma refused to sign and was taken to a detention center. Her husband has returned home. The whereabouts of the other practitioners is unknown.

13. [Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Gong Dian'e Arrested

Ms. Gong Dian'e was arrested on the morning of December 8, 2015. Her home was ransacked and her printer and computer were confiscated.

14. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xiong Bozhen Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Xiong Bozhen from the Wuchang District went missing on her way home near Dazhou Village on December 3, 2015. Her whereabouts are unknown.

15. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wei Maocai Detained and His Family Harassed

Mr. Wei Maocai was arrested and taken to the Yanji City Detention Center by officers from the Gongyuan Police Station on December 7, 2015. The officers also harassed his family members, including Ms. Wang Xiufen, a practitioner.

Mr. Zeng Ziping was arrested on the evening of December 7, 2015, and his home was ransacked.

Ms. Han Mengyang was arrested by officers from the Gongcheng Police Station in the Daoli District on November 26, 2015. She was detained for 10 days.

Mr. Chi Ming was arrested on December 1, 2015. He was detained for 10 days.

Several practitioners in their 70s were taken to the police station for questioning about their lawsuits against Jiang Zemin.

Mr. Wang Guobing from the Mingshan District was arrested by officers from the Mingshan Police Station and Mengdingshan Police Station on the morning of December 8, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. He is in the Mengdingshan Police Station.

19. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Rui Detained

Mr. Li Rui was arrested by Jinxue Police Station offices on the evening of December 7, 2015. He was taken to the Yanji Detention Center. He was detained for five days.

20. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Two Practitioners Taken to Detention Center for Suing Jiang Zemin

Ms. Jin Shanyu was arrested by Xinxing Police Station officers on the evening of December 7, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. She was detained for five days.

Ms. Li, an elderly practitioner, was arrested at home and taken to the detention center by officers from the Jinxue Police Station on the afternoon of December 7, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin.

21. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Sixteen Practitioners Harassed for Suing Jiang Zemin

Sixteen practitioners were harassed recently for suing Jiang Zemin. They are: Ms. Mo Yanshen, Ms. Xu Jianqiong, Ms. Ye Fengqun, Ms. Xu Xinu, Ms. Wu Yanqing, Mr. Dai Youcai, Ms. Zheng Yingying, Ms. Lin Chanying, Ms. Liang Huixian, Ms. Li Yuwei, Mr. Zeng Jiageng, Ms. Chen Huizhen, Ms. Che Yanchang, Ms. Luo Liping, Ms. Yang Xiuhua, and Ms. Shen Yali.

Ms. Shen Yali's home was ransacked on December 8, 2015. The police confiscated Falun Gong books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and USB flash drives.

22. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Dongqing and Ms. Zhao Fengying Arrested

Ms. Liu Dongqing and Ms. Zhao Fengying from the Donghai Coal area in the Chengzihe District were arrested and taken to the local police station on December 7, 2015. Ms. Liu's family was told that they would be detained for 10 days.

23. [Zhoukou City, Henan Province] Mr. Tian Liulei Arrested and Whereabouts Are Unknown

Mr. Tian Liulei, around 40, was arrested by officers from the 610 Office on December 7, 2015. He was taken to the Train Station Police Station and then to the Chinese Medicine Hospital for a physical. His whereabouts are unknown.

24. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xu Guishu and Ms. Chen Xiaoyu Arrested

Officers from the Zunhua City Domestic Security Division and the Tiechang Police Station in Dongjiuzhai Town broke into the homes of Ms. Liu Baoxia and Mr. Chen Yumin from Shengshuiyuan Village and other practitioners. They also harassed them on December 4, 2015.

Ms. Xu Guishu and Ms. Chen Xiaoyu were arrested and taken to the police station for interrogation. The officers told the practitioners to sign statements promising they would give up Falun Gong and released them that evening.

Ms. Xu's son was told to come to the police station the following day for questioning. On December 8, both practitioners' husbands were called to the Domestic Security Division for questioning.

25. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Mr. Lu Yajie Taken to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Lu Yajie was taken to a brainwashing center on December 4, 2015.

26. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] Mr. Sun Tingshan Under Siege at Home, His Sons Arrested

Niu Changjiang, director of Xianfeng Police Station, and more than a dozen officers surrounded the home of Mr. Sun Tingshan in Shangdiyinzhuang Village, Songlin Town, at 4 a.m. on December 6, 2015.

Mr. Sun's older son Mr. Sun Fengqiang was arrested at 8 a.m., and Mr. Sun's younger son Mr. Sun Fengbin was arrested at 2 p.m. Both were taken to the police station. The police extorted 10,000 yuan from the family. The younger son was released on December 7. The police agreed to release the older son around December 9, 2015.

27. [Linquan City, Anhui Province] Ms. Wang Chenfang Arrested, Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Wang Chenfang was arrested at work on December 7, 2015. Her whereabouts are unknown.

28. [Yongnian County, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Harassed for Suing Jiang Zemin

The Beidongjie Village Committee personnel in Linmingguan Town and Li Dong, an official assigned to take care of elderly and female villagers, went to the homes of Mr. Cheng Peiju, Ms. Gong Shuangqin, and Ms. Yin Feng on the morning of November 27, 2015, for filing lawsuits against Jiang Zemin. They took photos of the practitioners.

Officers from the Linmingguan Town Police Station and the village committee personnel went to homes of Mr. Cheng, Ms. Gong, and Ms. Yin to harass them around December 6, 2015.

The same officers went to Ms. Wang Xiangjun's home in the Nandajie area in Linmingguan Town and ransacked it on December 8, 2015. They confiscated a copy of Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Gong, and photos of the founder of Falun Gong. They also went to Mr. Gao Shuang's home to harass him.

30. [Foshan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. He Weifei Taken into Police Custody

Ms. He Weifen, in her 60s, from Heshun Village, Lishui Town, Nanhai District, was arrested by Heshun Police Station officers, who were waiting for her in her home on the evening of December 7, 2015. They had broken in, ransacked the place, and confiscated a large number of personal items. Ms. He is now in the police station.

31. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Xuejun Taken to Detention Center

Mr. Wang Xuejun was arrested at home and taken to the Daqing No. 2 Detention Center on December 6, 2015.

32. [Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Bao Yijun Detained

Ms. Bao Yijun from Jurong City was arrested by officers from the Houbai Town Police Station on December 7, 2015. She was detained for 10 days.

Ms. Dong Suwei and Ms. Fang were arrested on December 5, 2015.

Ms. Zhao Xia was arrested after her 10 days of detention on December 8, 2015. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Officers from the Hefei City Domestic Security Division and the Feidong Domestic Security Division showed up at Ms. Zheng Qiong's home and harassed her on December 4 and again on December 5, 2015. Ms. Zheng was taken to the Police Academy Brainwashing Center.

Ms. Huang Yuqing, who works at Anhui Medical University, was told to come to the Neighborhood Committee on December 4, 2015.

37. [Yongnian County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Harassed

Zhai Zhiguo with Dongmingyang Village Committee and others broke into Ms. Xia Meiyun's home on November 27, 2015, and questioned her about the lawsuit she filed against Jiang Zemin. They told her to sign documents, which she refused to do.

Xue Shibin and four people from the Mingguan Town and Beixijie Neighborhood Committee harassed Mr. Li Zhenzhong and his wife Ms. Ma Xiaofen for a second time on November 23, 2015.

The Yongnian County Domestic Security Division and the Xiyangcheng Police Station broke into Ms. Wang Shufang's home and harassed her on December 3 and 4, 2015.

38. [Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Jiang Yongqin Detained

Officers from the Hangzhou Economic Development Zone Domestic Security Division and the Baiyang Police Station arrested Ms. Jiang Yongqin at work on November 9, 2015. She was taken to the Hangzhou City Detention Center that day. The officers confiscated her keys and ransacked her home. They ransacked her home again the next day and confiscated over 40 copies of Falun Gong books, over 30 DVDs, a computer, and a hard disk.
