(Minghui.org) Heritage Beyond Borders held a gala dinner marking its 8th anniversary on August 29, 2015. Those in attendance had a chance to watch Falun Dafa practitioners perform. The practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises and performed a Lion Dance.

The Falun Dafa booth was at the entrance of the grand palace banquet hall, and all the guests passed by. Many people came over to learn about Falun Dafa. They talked to practitioners, took informational materials, or took photos with the Falun Dafa booth as the background. Many guests said they like the practice and support practitioners' efforts to call for an end to the persecution.

Member of Parliament: “It's Important that Everybody Have an Opportunity to Practice Their Faith”

After watching Falun Dafa practitioners' exercise demonstration on stage, Mr. Harris commented, “Practitioners should have ability to practice their faith, just as anyone else, free of persecution, and free of any interference from others. It's important that everybody have an opportunity to practice their faith.”
Talking about recent tide of lawsuits against Jiang Zemin, former Chinese dictator, Mr. Harris said that it's a challenge to bring Jiang to justice using international law, but if many people show their concern and support it, he believes that the Chinese government will be pressured to make a change.

“The performances are so wonderful. Chinese traditional culture is fantastic,” Ms. Kovousi said after watching Falun Dafa practitioners' Lion Dance and exercise demonstration. “This is my first time getting to know Falun Dafa, and it is very illuminating for me. It sounds magical. I am very interested in learning it. I am interested in meditation.”
“What they were doing are just dance and meditation, while they were suppressed and persecuted. This is really unfair,” she continued. “I will help you.”

“Falun Dafa was very nice. They shouldn’t be persecuted at all,” said Ms. Subhra Nanda. “Everybody should enjoy having the guide (Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance) to become good people, not only in China, everywhere (in the world).”
“I saw this lady has so much energy, so I think this Gong will be good to me,” said Maria Saras-Voutsinas, Contributing editor of Patrides, North American Review newspaper, after watching the practitioners' performances.
“I’ll go through this brochure...I will contact that person on the brochure,” said Lakmal Ferdinandz from Sri Lanka, a HSBC banker.
“The performance is perfect! Excellent! I definitely like it,” said Pat Faturos from Greece. “Everyone I think should try the exercises like these young people.”
“The performance is good. I like it,” said Grand Palace Owner Farhana Choudhury. “Falun Dafa is good. Excellent!”
