Harbin City Practitioner Mr. Lu Shiqiang Arrested for Suing Jiang Zemin

(Minghui.org) Mr. Lu Shiqiang, a senior engineer at Harbin City Welder Training Center, was arrested on August 28, 2015, after he filed a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin. He was sent to Harbin No. 2 Detention Center.

Mr. Lu had received a phone call that same morning from police officer Lu Feng, who told him to go to the Heping Road Police Station to verify some information. After he arrived at the station, police detained him for filing his lawsuit.

Several senior managers from the Welder Training Center appealed for Mr. Lu’s release at the police station. However, the police refused to release him and told the managers that it was the Xiangfang District Police Department who decided to arrest him.

Mr. Lu, 42, began to practice Falun Dafa in 1996. He was a model employee and an expert technical trainer, and he traveled to many cities in China to teach welding. He was admired by his colleagues and supervisors because of his conduct and professionalism.

Mr. Lu’s three sisters and their husbands are all practitioners. His oldest sister, Shiping, was arrested five times and detained in a forced labor camp. His middle sister’s husband, Han Wei, was arrested three times and detained in a labor camp. His youngest sister, Shixin, was arrested twice, and Shixin’s husband, Li Guoyou, was arrested four times and twice sent to a labor camp.

Mr. Lu is the only wage earner in his family. His wife and school-age child have no income. His parents are in their 70’s, and Mr. Lu was the only caregiver for his father who suffers from a severe disease. His sisters and their families left China. His parents and family are now in a desperate situation.
