(Minghui.org) When my wife saw me writing a legal complaint against former Communist Party leader Jiang Zemin, who launched the persecution against Falun Gong, she asked me to write one for her as well. Our daughters then objected.
Our daughter, who works in Sichuan Province, was visiting us during her vacation. She did not say a word when I wrote my legal complaint, as she knew that once I made up my mind, nothing could stop me. However, she was worried for her mother filing a legal complaint using her real name, phone number, and citizen identification. She thought it would expose her mother's identity to the persecutors of Falun Gong. So she called her sisters, and all three tried to stop their mother.
“Mother, you are over 70 and can't afford to be persecuted again,” they said. “If you are arrested again and something happens to you, what can we do? You can practice at home—why seek trouble? We need you, mother.”
I told them that this was their mother's business, and I would not make the decision for her. I suggested that we ask her what she wanted to do.
My wife told them that she used to be quite sick and lived a miserable life. Yet, after practicing Falun Gong, her body no longer experienced any sickness.
“Master saved my life and showed me how to be a good person and how to cultivate. I am so grateful to Master,” she said. “I should listen to Master' words, just like you should listen to me. Master told me to clarify the facts about Falun Gong, and I should not hesitate to do so.”
She continued, “Master said to file legal complaints against Jiang Zemin, so nothing can stop me. I have benefited from practicing Falun Gong, so how can I turn a blind eye when people's minds are poisoned? Could I only consider my own safety?”
“Plus, suing Jiang Zemin is another way to tell people about the persecution of Falun Gong,” she added.
“If I don't listen to my Master, am I still a Dafa disciple? The Fa-rectification has come to this stage. It's not the time for evil to be rampant—it's the time to bring Jiang Zemin to justice. Don't worry about me, because I hold righteous thoughts, and Master controls everything.”
It is impressive that my wife, an older woman who had never attended school, is able to reason like that. My daughters were persuaded, and soon our complaints were received by the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate.
Our daughter soon went back to Sichuan, but called us every other day. When nothing untoward happened within two months, she no longer worried.
I also realized that people's minds are deeply poisoned by Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party. Even our close relatives are filled with fear. In this way, we should further clarify the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution.
