Additional Persecution News from China – September 15, 2015 (15 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 21 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, at least 23 were illegally arrested, and four practitioners were arrested for suing Jiang Zemin.

1. [Huantai County, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Sentenced

Five practitioners were sentenced by the Huantai County Court on September 11, 2015. Mr. Dai Dongwu was given a three-and-a-half-year prison term. Ms. Gong Junling, Mr. Wei Qirong, and Ms. Sun Liju were each sentenced to a three-year prison term. Ms. Zhang Yuzhen was given a three-year prison term, with three years of probation.

2. [Beihai City, Guangxi] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Liang Yuying and Ms. Pang Xiaolian were arrested on September 8, 2015, for distributing software to break the Chinese internet firewall. The police ransacked their homes. Ms. Liang was released that evening and Ms. Pang is detained at the No. 1 Detention Center.

Ms. Lin Yanxing was arrested on September 9, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is detained at the No. 2 Detention Center.

3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xu Meihua Sentenced

Ms. Xu Meihua was sentenced to a 10 year prison term by the Ganjingzi Court in the spring of 2015. She appealed.

4. [Beijing] Two Practitioner Arrested and Detained

Mr. Jian and his wife Ms. Kou were arrested by Yang Fan (杨帆) and officers from the Sijiqing Police Station on August 29, 2015. Their home was ransacked and police confiscated personal items with a value of 20,000 yuan. The couple was taken to the Sijiqing Police Station and transferred to the Haidian Detention Center. They were later released.

5. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Geng Shufeng Detained

Ms. Geng Shufeng, in her 60s, was arrested and taken to the Heping Police Station on September 11, 2015, for posting informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is detained at the Xindi Detention Center.

6. [Qingzhou City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested for Suing Jiang Zemin

Mr. Shi Aijun, Ms. Yan Xiuqin, and Mr. Liu Aijun were arrested by officers from the Qingzhou City Domestic Security Division on September 13, 2015, for suing the former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin.

7. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Sun Huaisen Arrested

Mr. Sun Huaisen was arrested by officers from the Taibaozhuang Town Police Station and the Xiashan District Domestic Security Division on September 14, 2015. He was taken to the Weifang Detention Center.

8. [Binchuan County, Yunnan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Shi Jianwei, Ms. Xiao Zhu, and his daughter Ms. Shi Jia were arrested at Mr. Shi's home by officers from the Binchuan County Domestic Security Division on September 7, 2015. They were detained at the Binchuan County Police Department. The police confiscated Mr. Shi's home key and car key. Ms. Shi was released the next day. Mr. Shi is now detained at the Binchuan County Detention Center and Ms. Xiao at the Dalizhou Detention Center.

9. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Meiyu Arrested

Ms. Li Meiyu, 59, was arrested by officers from the Zhangdian Town Police Station on September 9, 2015. She was taken to the Tanghe County Detention Center.

10. [Tianjin] Ms. Pan Huimin Detained

Ms. Pan Huimin was arrested by officers from the Zhongbei Town Police Station in Xiqing District on September 9, 2015, for posting informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is detained in the Yangliuqing Detention Center.

11. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Li Yazhi, her husband and son were arrested by officers from the Yanglin Town Police Station on September 9, 2015. Ms. Li and her husband were released that evening and her son is detained at the No. 7 Division of the Harbin City Police Department.

Officers from that police station went to Ms. Li's home again on September 14. They arrested Ms. Li and Ms. Li Yafen and took them to the No. 7 Division of the Harbin City Police Department.

12. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Sun Guangli Detained

Mr. Sun Guangli was arrested by officers from the Kazuo Police Department on September 3, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police confiscated his car. He is detained at the Chaoyang Detention Center.

13. [Huangchuan County, Henan Province] Mr. Wei Bin and Mr. Wang Haiquan Arrested

Mr. Wang Haiquan was arrested and taken to the Hedian Detention Center by officers from the local Domestic Security Division on September 14, 2015.

Mr. Wei Bin was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security and Lailong Town Police Station on September 13, 2015.

Mr. Li Yuzhou was arrested by officers from the Banyanglu Police Station in Zichuan District on September 14, 2015, for mailing criminal complaints against the former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin. The police ransacked his home. He is detained at the Zichuan District Detention Center .

15. [Gucheng County, Hebei Province] Fifteen Practitioners Arrested

Fifteen practitioners including Mr. Yuan Shuchen were arrested on August 21, 2015. Mr. Yuan was tortured and died. Four arrests were approved and all others were released.
