Huaian County Police Take Practitioner Off a Bus and Beat Her
(Minghui.org) Huaian County Police beat a Falun Gong practitioner who happened to travel through that county. Officer Wang said that he would beat this practitioner every time she passed through Huaian.
Ms. Li Cuihua is a practitioner from Wanquan County, Hebei Province. She took a bus on July 30, 2015, which passed through Huaian County.
The bus stopped at the Huaian County Vehicle Check Station before noon, when police ordered Ms. Li to step out of the bus for an identification check.
The police computer identified her as a Falun Gong practitioner who had once served a forced labor term.
They took her to the police station around 1:00 p.m., where they interrogated and searched her, but without finding anything. They then took her to the basement and beat her.
Officer Wang slapped her face, grabbed her hair, and pushed her head against a metal bar. She fell to the ground. The officer then kicked her and threatened her some more.
Ms. Li was released around 6:00 p.m. She had bruises on her chin, arms, and legs. Her identification card was kept by the police.
