“Falun Dafa really brings about a miracle”
During the summer of 1997, several months after I started to practice Falun Dafa, I experienced a shocking incident.
I was cooking lunch on a gas stove when my daughter turned on the television, saw that one of my favorite programs was on, and asked me to come and watch it with her. We were engrossed in the show when we suddenly saw thick smoke in the kitchen.
Our new kitchen curtain had caught fire and spread to the ceiling. I told my daughter to get help, and she called our neighbors who rushed over. By then, the fire had gone out by itself.
They asked how I put out the fire. I told them that the fire was spreading rapidly, so I shouted “Master! Please help put out the fire! Master, please help us!" In the blink of an eye, the fire went out. It was Master who helped! Thank you, Master! Thank you, Master!”
My neighbors were astounded, because they had never heard of such a thing. They exclaimed, “Falun Dafa really brings about a miracle! Your Master is a God!”
Wind Stopped and Fire Died Down
During the 2007 Tomb-Sweeping Day, three of my sisters, a dozen relatives, and I went to our gravesite to pay our respects to our parents.
It was a windy day, so we were careful when we burned paper and lit fireworks at the memorial ceremony. As we were about to leave, we noticed that flames had spread to the side of the hill, and the men hurried to put it out. But a gust of wind blew up and the fire spread.
My nephew said that there was nothing more we could do and would have to report it to the police. His wife, a Buddhist, called several times on Bodhisattva for help. However the fire continued to spread.
Then, another nephew's wife suddenly remembered that a Falun Dafa practitioner had told her that if she recited “Falun Dafa is good,” danger could be averted. She shouted, “Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is good!” and all of us joined in.
The wind stopped instantly, the fire slowed down, and then was completely extinguished.
“What would have happened if it hadn't been for Falun Dafa? Thank you, Dafa, for saving our family,” one of our family members said.
