(Minghui.org) More than 300 Falun Gong practitioners and their family members from Ningyuan Town of Bin County, Heilongjiang Province, have filed criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), since late May 2015.
These practitioners are urging the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme People's Court to bring Jiang to justice for orchestrating the violent suppression of Falun Gong in China.
Arrests of Practitioners to Continue Until September
As ordered by the Heilongjiang Province Ministry of Public Security, Song Yi, deputy director of the Bin County Police Department and officers from different townships carried out large-scale arrests of practitioners on July 28, 2015, for suing Jiang.
According to inside information, the police will continue to arrest practitioners until at least September.
Over 100 officers and more than 20 police cars with fake plates gathered in the Ningyuan Town Police Station around 2 a.m. on July 28. They broke into practitioners' homes and arrested 17 practitioners and 1 family member who does not practice Falun Gong.
Those arrested include male and female practitioners. The males are: Mr. Zhao Hongrong, Mr. Zhang Shirong, Mr. Wen Hai, Mr. Xiu Cai, Mr. Xiu Hongjun, and Mr. Li Jie.
The females are: Ms. Wen Jinglin, Ms. Lan Bo, Ms. Ji Chunxia, Ms. Xiu Hongyan, Ms. Xu Jinhua, Ms. Qu Xueying, Ms. Liu Shuhua, Ms. Man Lifen, Ms. Qiao Zhuhua, Ms. Chen Jian, and a practitioner whose name is unknown.
Mr. Xiu Gui was also arrested, although he is not a practitioner.
Sentenced and Fined
The 6 male practitioners were taken to the Bin County No.1 Detention Center, with 5 sentenced to a 15-day detention term. Mr. Xiu Gui was sentenced to 10 days.
The female practitioners were taken to Yaziquan in Harbin for 15 days of detention. Some practitioners' families were fined 1,000 yuan.
Practitioners Ms. Sun Yan and Ms. Zhou Shuqin from Binzhou Town were also arrested on July 28. Ms. Sun was taken to Yaziquan, and Ms. Zhou was released the same day. Another practitioner, also called Ms. Sun avoided arrest because she was not at home. However, her Falun Gong books were confiscated.
Ms. Yu from Bin County was arrested and released that evening.
All practitioners were charged with the concocted allegation of “disturbing social order.”
