(Minghui.org) According to a recent article on the Minghui website, over 103,000 people from inside and outside of China filed criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin between the end of May and July 23, 2015.

In some cities, however, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) agents have responded by arresting and harassing practitioners.

Eight practitioners were taken to a brainwashing center in Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province, and four were arrested in Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province. Five practitioners were arrested and taken to a brainwashing center in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Special District, and two were arrested in Dalian City, Liaoning Province.

[Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Eight Practitioners Taken to a Brainwashing Center—Homes Ransacked

Fourteen practitioners went to the provincial High Procuratorate and High Court in Jinan City on July 16 to file criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin. The Procuratorate accepted their complaints, and the court recorded personal information from the filers. Some of the police officers were even moved to tears when they heard what the practitioners had endured in the persecution.

The minute they returned home, however, they faced retaliation for their actions. At least eight practitioners were taken to the Lingnanjinkuang Brainwashing Center in Linglong Town by the Zhaoyuan City Domestic Security Division and the local township police.

The arrested practitioners included Ms. Yan Xuefen, Mr. Yan Xuerong, Mr. Liu Ximin, Ms. Qiu Cuimin, Ms. Lan Meiyu, Ms. Wang Meiju, Mr. Wu Kelin, and Ms. Chi Ruimei.

The police ransacked Ms. Yan Xuefen's home. They stole over 10,000 yuan in cash, and property valued in the tens of thousands of yuan.

Practitioner Mr. Wang Huayang was forced to leave his home again. Other practitioners are still being monitored and harassed.

[Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province] Many Practitioners Arrested

Police in Yilan County recently arrested and harassed many practitioners to prevent them from suing Jiang.

The police went to practitioners' homes as early as 4:00 a.m. on July 22, 2015, to harass and arrest them. Two practitioners, Du Jing from Yilan County and Tao Yongwen from Dalianhe Town, were arrested and taken to the Yilan Police Department on the morning of July 22.

The police also arrested Ms. Cao Rujie at work, the Dalianhe Gas Factory, on July 22. She was set for a 15-day detainment. Her young daughter went to the police station and told them that she could not survive on her own. The police threatened her, saying that some practitioners had been sentenced to 14 years in prison.

Ms. Shi Yanjie from Yinglan Township was arrested on July 22, and is being held in the Yilan Police Station for 15 days.

The police went to practitioner Ms. Fu Guiqin's home at around 4:00 a.m. on July 22. Further details of her arrest are still unknown.

The police also harassed Ms. Zuo Xianfeng and her sister Ms. Zuo Xianbo, Ms. Wang Wenjuan, Ms. Zhang Kemei, Mr. Zhang Guodong, and Mr. Li Chunbao on July 22.

[Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Taken to a Brainwashing Center

The Chifeng City Brainwashing Center began a new round of arresting practitioners around July 10, 2015.

Bao Zhiqing from the Hongshan District, and Yu Zhanxiang, Ren Changfen, Sheng Xiuhuan, and Qi Yuying from Sidaowanzi Town in Aohan Banner were taken to a brainwashing center, because they had filed criminal complaints against Jiang.

Officials also tried to arrest Wang Zhanxiang from the Ongniud Banner, but he escaped.

[Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mother and Daughter Arrested

Police from the Jinzhou District in Dalian Province broke into the home of practitioners Ms. Su Zhengqiu and her daughter on June 23, ransacked it, and arrested them, because they had filed a complaint against Jiang for persecuting Ms. Su's husband.

Officers tied the ladies to chairs while they ransacked the house.

An officer who handcuffed Ms. Xia Jing told her that they were following central government orders, while another officer reprimanded her for filing a complaint against the former leader of the country.

They confiscated a photo of Mr. Li, the founder of Falun Gong, along with Falun Gong books and DVDs, two copies of Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs, a computer, and personal belongings.

None of the officers showed any identification or disclosed their names.

Mr. Xia Yuanxin, Ms. Su's husband, was arrested in August 2013 and sentenced to a seven-year prison term for practicing Falun Gong. He is still in Dongling Prison in Shenyang City.

Ms. Su and her daughter were released after a few hours.

Background

In 1999, Jiang Zemin, as head of the Chinese Communist Party, overrode other members of the Politburo Standing Committee and launched the violent suppression of Falun Gong.

The persecution has led to the deaths of many Falun Gong practitioners over the past 16 years. More have been tortured for their belief and even killed for their organs. Jiang Zemin is directly responsible for the inception and continuation of the brutal persecution.

Under his personal direction, the communist regime established an extralegal security organization, the 610 Office, on June 10, 1999. The organization overrides police forces and the judicial system in carrying out Jiang's directive regarding Falun Gong: to ruin their reputations, cut off their financial resources, and destroy them physically.

Chinese law allows its citizens to be plaintiffs in criminal cases, and many practitioners are now exercising that right to file criminal complaints against the former dictator.
