(Minghui.org) On the last two weekends in June, Falun Gong practitioners from Sydney held activities in Eastwood and Bankstown to inform people about the wave of lawsuits being filed against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party, for initiating and directing the persecution of Falun Gong. The public was very supportive.
Mr. Jia, who was visiting his son in Eastwood, spent a long time with practitioners on the 20. He said, “Everybody should support this effort to file complaints against Jiang. That tyrant is responsible for terrible things happening to the Chinese people and to the whole world. The victims should support each other.
“Falun Gong benefits everybody. But when so many people started practicing, Jiang felt threatened. If everybody practiced Falun Gong, then nobody would believe the Party. That is why he launched the persecution.”
Mr. Jia often visits his son in Australia and has seen Falun Gong activities many times. “Your marching band in the parades is really remarkable,” he said.
“People can practice Falun Gong everywhere else in the world. Why not in China? That is the Party's fault.
“I am glad to see that more and more people have joined your group,” Mr. Jia commented before he left.

Peter, an immigrant from Fujian, China, has lived in Australia for 26 years. He signed the petition to express his support for Falun Gong at the event in Bankstown on June 27.
“Everybody knows about the communist party's persecution of Falun Gong. We all know that the Party is evil. It's great that Falun Gong practitioners are filing lawsuits against Jiang Zemin. Suing Jiang is protecting justice,” Peter said.
Henry Bui, a resident of Bankstown, signed the petition and then asked his son and wife to sign, too.

Henry said, “I know about the persecution of Falun Gong. It is simply horrible. We cannot let it continue. Jiang Zemin has committed so many crimes. That is why people are filing lawsuits against him. We all support it. People should stop him and bring him to justice as soon as possible. When everybody stands together against him, we can save this world.”

Peter Latu said that he had heard about the lawsuits against Jiang in the news. He thought that it was a great idea. “If more people support it, it will succeed,” he said.
After signing the petition to condemn the Chinese state-sanctioned organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, Peter asked his friends to do the same.
