(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners rallied in front of Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco on July 1, 2015, to support the thousands of Chinese practitioners who have filed lawsuits against former dictator Jiang Zemin.
More than 20,000 Falun Dafa practitioners have recently filed criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and Supreme People's Court in Beijing, according to the number of copies received by Minghui website.
More than 160 Falun Gong who had escaped to foreign countries filed their lawsuits too. More than 50 Falun Dafa practitioners in San Francisco and bay area had joined the wave of the lawsuits. Five of them joined the rally on the day.

Plaintiff Tang Lijuan, a former associate professor of philosophy, sued Jiang Zemin for her son who was tortured to death in a forced labor camp at a young age of 27.
Practitioner Han Hua, a former technician of a local TV station in China. The authorities ransacked Han and his wife's house, confiscated a TV set and a motorcycle on March 25, 2002. The policemen at first attempted to extort 5,000 Yuan cash from the couple. Then they abducted Han and his wife to a local police station where they were beaten.
Yu Yang was arrested multiple times because he helped fellow Falun Gong practitioners to hire defend lawyer.
Supporter of Falun Dafa Mr. Tang Baiqiao said that he was also contacting a team of lawyers to sue Jiang Zemin.
“I wish those who are part of the state machine hijacked by Jiang Zemin to persecute Falun Dafa value this opportunity and stop the evil doing immediately. Suing and trying Jiang Zemin will give everyone a chance to side with the righteous,” said Wang Yunbo, a Falun Dafa practitioner at the rally.
