(Minghui.org) As Falun Gong practitioners persistently raise awareness of their brutal persecution to the Chinese public, more and more police now quietly refuse to carry out the repression directive. This recently happened in my city.

A practitioner was arrested and taken to the police station while distributing informational materials about the persecution.

“What’s your name? Where do you live?” asked the police officer.

“I can’t tell you,” the practitioner replied.

“Believe it or not, I can find out who you are in only three days.”

The police officer became upset.

“It’s not that I don’t want to tell you, but I can’t tell you. Think about it, the persecution is wrong. I just hope to let people know about it. Looking back at history, none of the perpetrators who persecute innocent people have a good ending. I don’t want you to become an accomplice in the persecution.”

That police officer appeared to reconsider. His other colleagues were nodding their heads in agreement.

After a while, the police officer came back and asked: “Have you had lunch?”

“No.”

“You can go out to have lunch now,” he said.

The practitioner went to have lunch. No policemen followed her.

After lunch, she thought to herself: “Should I go home or should I go back to the police station? If I just leave without telling them, will their supervisor give them a hard time?”

She decided to go back to the police station.

The policeman saw her and said, “Go out and eat lunch!”

“He knew I just had my lunch, why is he asking me to have lunch again?” thought the practitioner.

“Don’t come back!” the police whispered to her.

With a smile, the practitioner stood up and went back home.
