(Minghui.org) Many Falun Gong practitioners are now exercising their legal right to sue former dictator Jiang Zemin for persecuting Falun Gong and causing them great harm and tremendous suffering over the past 16 years. The number of complaints being filed is rising steadily.
Recently, many letters of complaint to the Supreme People's Court and Supreme People's Procuratoratein Beijing have been reportedly withheld. Some of the letters were returned to their senders.
In the face of this interference, many practitioners who have not yet sent their complaints have wondered how to proceed effectively. We recently discussed this in our group Fa study.
Evil Is Always Looking for Ways to Take Advantage of Us
During the Fa-rectification period, every Dafa disciple must eliminate the obstacles in their minds and, without compromise, file their lawsuits, because Master has approved of our doing this.
Practitioners started filing criminal complaints against Jiang in May. Since then, many practitioners have been interfered with and have not yet done their part.
We all know that, when Jiang is sued in this world, the evil in other dimensions is being eliminated. That means that evil in other dimensions will take advantage of our loopholes to create illusions to confuse us and interfere with our pursuing our legal rights. My own case is a perfect example.
When I planned to file my lawsuit, several things came up all at once. One relative asked to stay with me for a while and another one asked me for help to do something.
I rationalized and thought that it was still early, that there was plenty of time to file my complaint. Also, I thought I needed more time to find out how, legally, to prepare my suit. As a result, two weeks went by.
Superficially, it seemed that I just wanted my lawsuit to be perfect. Actually, it was evil in other dimensions that took advantage of my eagerness to fulfill Master's requirement--it misled me and interfered with me, causing me to waste my time and energy.
A Good Opportunity to Save Sentient Beings
When more practitioners file their criminal complaints against the former Chinese dictator, the impact will be great. As news of these lawsuits spreads, those who are still deceived by the Chinese Communist Party will have an opportunity to better understand the facts about Falun Gong and realize that the Party has duped them.
It will also give pause to those who work in public security and have carried out orders to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Most of them are conscientious and are actually waiting to be saved. They will try to keep from being sued in the future and not be so anxious to carry out orders that go against their conscience.
The world will know of Jiang's crime of persecuting Falun Gong. He will be brought to justice for violating international laws and Chinese laws. I have enlightened that, through these lawsuits, Master has arranged this opportunity for practitioners to end the persecution and save sentient beings.
Purifying Our Minds to Overcome Interference
As the movement to bring Jiang to justice continues, evil elements will definitely try to stop or slow down the progress of Fa-rectification. But the evil will be eliminated eventually because Master as already paved the way for us in other dimensions. We just have to overcome the obstructions and follow through on the lawsuits in this world.
When the authorities interfere with our legal right to file a lawsuit, it is actually a good opportunity to clarify the facts about Falun Gong to the public. We must let everyone know that every Falun Gong practitioner is suing Jiang. This will encourage people to be less fearful. If we don't say anything, how can we save those who have been deceived and those who work in public security and still have a conscience?
We must tell those who harass us that suing Jiang is a legal right protected by the constitution and that they will be breaking the law if they prevent us from filing our lawsuits. We should make them understand that bringing Jiang to justice will also keep them from being passively involved in the persecution.
When we file our lawsuits with a pure mind to save sentient beings, we are uplifted and the evil will not be able to take advantages of us. Interference will be eliminated. We will succeed, because Master has arranged it.
Background
In 1999, Jiang Zemin, as head of the Chinese Communist Party, overrode other Politburo standing committee members and launched the violent suppression of Falun Gong.
The persecution has led to the deaths of many Falun Gong practitioners over the past 16 years. More have been tortured for their belief and even killed for their organs. Jiang Zemin is directly responsible for the inception and continuation of the brutal persecution.
Under his personal direction, the Chinese Communist Party established an extralegal security organ, the 610 Office, on June 10, 1999. The organization overrides police forces and the judicial system in carrying out Jiang's directive regarding Falun Gong: to ruin their reputations, cut off their financial resources, and destroy them physically.
Chinese law allows for citizens to be plaintiffs in criminal cases, and many practitioners are now exercising that right to file criminal complaints against the former dictator.
