(Minghui.org) For years I've been unclear about the relationship between Falun Gong practitioners and China's state-run police force, court officials, and 610 Office. I've always viewed Falun Gong as the “victim” and the people who are carrying out the persecution against Falun Gong as the “perpetrators.”

I had failed to see that Dafa practitioners are messengers of the Divine, and, as such, it is our duty to save all sentient beings. The relationship between practitioners and those who wield power in China should be that of “saving and being saved.”

Recently, several local practitioners successfully lodged criminal lawsuits against Jiang Zemin. However, the lawsuits were later transferred from the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme People's Court to the local 610 Office.

When I heard about this turn of events, I shared my concerns with a fellow practitioner. “This is a good thing,” he assured me. “We had planned to clarify the facts about Falun Gong to the local 610 Office, including the lawsuit against Jiang. Now, the 610 Officeknows about it firsthand!”

“Isn't it a good thing that they're coming to see us? Haven't we been provided a wonderful opportunity to explain the facts about Falun Gong?” I replied, “I hope so.”

“We should advise them not to do bad deeds and instead stand with us in suing Jiang,” he explained. I felt better after talking to him, but deep in my heart I was still a little worried.

A local practitioner visited me the following day. When our conversation touched on the lawsuits, he said, “Dafa practitioners and those in power, including the police and 610 Office agents, have a relationship with each other.

“And that relationship is one of saving and being saved, not of being persecuted and persecuting. These beings have also come to this world with full confidence that Dafa will save them.”

I was touched. A deep sense of calm washed over me, and I was no longer worried about the 610 Office contacting me.

When practitioners recall the suffering that they'v endured during the CCP's 16-year-long persecution, they should not harbor any feelings of hatred, resentment, injustice, helplessness, depression, or fear.

On the contrary, they should see the situation from the perspective of saving and being saved!
