(Minghui.org) I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1997, but I was only focused on being a good person and did not truly understand how to cultivate. My xinxing and understanding of the Fa could not elevate because of the many hidden attachments I did not want to eliminate.
It was not until 2003 that I began to truly cultivate. I saw a small sticker on a utility pole that said, "Falun Dafa Is the Righteous Fa," printed on it. Each character on the sticker literally glowed. I felt movement in an area of my head where it had seemed to be been enveloped in a thick fog. The moment the fog dissipated, my true self instantly awakened.
I peeled the sticker off to take with me, because I felt it was a rare and priceless treasure. Never before had I seen characters emitting rays of golden light. Then I recalled Master’s Fa teaching:
"I also want to tell you that your nature in the past was actually based on egotism and selfishness. From now on, whatever you do, you should consider others first, so as to attain the righteous Enlightenment of selflessness and altruism. So from now on, whatever you do or whatever you say, you must consider others—or even future generations—along with Dafa’s eternal stability." (“Non-Omission in Buddha-Nature” from Essentials For Further Advancement)
How could I take the sticker home for myself? I should let everyone see it, so they would know that Falun Dafa is the Righteous Fa. I put the sticker back where it was and went home.
Awakened by the words "Falun Dafa Is the Righteous Fa," I immediately began reading Zhuan Falun sincerely with a calm mind when I got home. Something miraculous happened as I read--all the characters in the book started emitting rays of golden light. It was unbelievable, truly magnificent!
That night I read the entire book with a clear mind, and all of my doubts about Dafa disappeared. I realized that I had finally obtained the Fa. It was revered Master who did not give up on me. I began to cry for having wasted all those years of not diligently cultivating Dafa.
I decided to visit several practitioners whom I had not kept in touch with. They played the DVD of the staged Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident for me. I then understood that it was Jiang Zemin and his cohorts who had staged the whole thing to turn public opinion against Falun Gong and use it as an excuse to persecute us.
After reading the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, I realized that the Chinese regime has been instigating political movements to incite hatred and get us to fight each other. The Party does not want us to have a conscience.
Fa-rectification is coming to an end, and we are reaching the last page of history. Each of us chooses our own destiny by the choices we make at critical moments in our lives.
