(Minghui.org) Posters about Falun Gong and the efforts to bring Jiang Zemin to justice have recently appeared on the main streets, crossroads, railway and bus stations, parking lots and other public spaces in the city of Langfang, Hebei Province.

Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), initiated the persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, and created the 610 Office, giving it the power to override the police and judicial system to carry out his persecution policy.

Over the past 16 years, more than 3,800 Falun Gong practitioners have been confirmed to have died as a direct result of the persecution. The actual toll is likely much higher, because such information is tightly censored in China.

As the persecution has dragged on for 16 years, Falun Gong practitioners seek creative ways to inform people about Falun Gong and expose the brutal persecution. Despite risk of arrest, practitioners hang banners and posters to raise awareness of the goodness of Falun Gong and the brutality of the persecution. Most recently, posters have appeared informing the public about the efforts to bring Jiang Zemin to justice and announcing the vast numbers of criminal complaints being filed against Jiang in the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme People's Court in China, charging him with unlawful imprisonment, depriving citizens of their constitutional right to freedom of belief, abuse of power, and many more crimes.

Posters worded, “Public Trial of Jiang Zemin, Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong” and “Lawsuit Against Jiang, Restore Innocence to Falun Gong.”
