(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Xiuxiang was illegally tried in Zhongshan District Court in Dalian City at 9:00 a.m. on June 25, 2015. She denied all charges and refused to accept the verdict. In the end, the presiding judge let her go home.
Eight officers and four judges participated in the trial. They all wore plainclothes. Ms. Wang pointed out that the charges were illegal and nothing but fabricated lies. She solemnly told the courtroom that Falun Gong is not a cult, as labeled by the Communist Party's hate propaganda, and it teaches people to be good through following its principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. She added, “Falun Gong is the great law of the universe, and Master Li (the founder of Falun Gong) came here to save sentient beings.”
A list of people in Heilongjiang Province whom Ms. Wang supposedly called to talk to about Falun Gong were presented during the trial. Ms. Wang said that she did not know anyone on the list. She said, “I did not have an illegal assembly with other people. Practitioners just follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and try to be better people. In addition to Bo Xilai and Zhou Yongkang (previous high-level government officials), more Chinese officials will be brought to justice for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners.”
One judge demanded that Ms. Wang sign and press her fingerprints on the verdict. She refused and just wrote down one word: “Void.” Finally, a female judge said: “Go! Go! Quickly go! Your husband has waited for you in the lobby for a long time.”
