(Minghui.org) Many Chinese police have awakened to the truth about Falun Dafa (as opposed to the propaganda publicized by the Chinese Communist Party). These officers have realized that Falun Dafa practitioners are good people who follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. They have refused to participate in the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners.
Officer Replied Loudly on Phone, “I Have No Time!”
A Falun Dafa practitioner went to a village in Hebei Province to talk to people about Falun Dafa to the villagers. One of them called the local police station to report the practitioner.
The officer at the police station who received the phone call learned it was to report a Falun Dafa practitioner. He said loudly on the phone, “I have no time!” Later he told me, “Actually, I was watching TV. I know you practitioners are good people who follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I have received such phone calls many times. I reply to them like this every time.”
On one occasion he had no choice but to go to where a practitioner was reported. He looked at the practitioner, and realized he knew him and let him go. He told me, “Even if I did not know the practitioner, I would have let him go later. I would tell others at the police station that the practitioner escaped and I could not catch him.”
This officer often protects practitioners. He has notified practitioners to pay attention to safety if the police take some actions against them. He also passed on a practitioner's letter about the truth of Falun Dafa to the director of the police station.
Police Helped a Practitioner Get His Money Back
Practitioner Mr. Da Li was distributing Shen Yun DVDs to promote traditional Chinese culture and was arrested in May 2010. Police beat him and his three front teeth were knocked out during the beating. His home was ransacked and the police took 2,000 yuan in cash. He was sentenced to three years imprisonment.
After he got out of prison, Mr. Da went to the police station accompanied by his sister and brother-in-law to ask for his 2,000 yuan, but the police refused.
Mr. Da and his family went to the appeals office at the local police department and helped the officer there understand Falun Dafa and the persecution. The officer knew that Falun Dafa practitioners were good people, and that they don't lie. He said, “I know you told me the truth. I will call the police station, and have them return your money.”
The officer told them after making the phone call, "You can go back to the police station to get your money." Mr. Da Li got this money back from the police station that same day.
