Daqing City Court to Sentence Ms. Lin Huawen

(Minghui.org) Ms. Lin Huawen, a 61-year-old Falun Gong practitioner, was arrested by police officer Deng Hui on March 5, 2015, for distributing Shen Yun DVDs in Daqing City.

She was turned over to Liu Baoguo, a criminal police officer. Liu ignored Ms. Lin’s constitutional rights and accused her of “sabotaging law enforcement.” Liu submitted Ms. Lin’s case to the Ranghulu District Procuratorate and recommended that she be tried.

Prosecutors Liu Xiaochen and Sun Xuecai have formally charged Ms. Lin. Although they likely know that the case against Ms. Lin is groundless, they have chosen to to follow the dictates of the former head of the Chinese Communist regime, Jiang Zemin, to persecute practitioners.

Police ransacked Ms. Lin's home and confiscated Falun Gong books and other Falun Gong materials, which they are using as evidence of "criminal activity."
