(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 3 provinces. According to this report, 1 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 9 were illegally arrested.
1. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xu Zongmei and Ms. Guo Juxiang Arrested
2. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Duan Xueqin in Critical Physical Condition
3. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Mr. Pei Yuxian and Ms. Li Yanchun Arrested
4. [Tianjin] Mr. Liu Jun Detained
5. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Shuai Birong Detained
6. [Beijing] Three Practitioners Detained
1. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xu Zongmei and Ms. Guo Juxiang Arrested
Ms. Xu Zongmei and Ms. Guo Juxiang were arrested by officers from Tongde Town on June 2, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Xu is detained at the Wanyaoshu Detention Center and Ms. Guo’s whereabouts are unknown.
2. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Duan Xueqin in Critical Physical Condition
Ms. Duan Xueqin, illegally sentenced to a five-year prison term, is imprisoned at the Hohhot Women's Prison. She lost feeling in her limbs and became paralyzed as a result of persecution. However, the prison still refuses to release her.
3. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Mr. Pei Yuxian and Ms. Li Yanchun Arrested
Mr. Pei Yuxian and his wife Ms. Li Yanchun were arrested by officers from the Bianfang Police Station on October 18, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.
4. [Tianjin] Mr. Liu Jun Detained
Mr. Liu Jun was arrested at his workplace on June 2, 2015. He is detained at the Hongqiao Police Department.
5. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Shuai Birong Detained
Ms. Shuai Birong was arrested by officers from the Shilong Town Government and Baima Town Police Station on June 6, 2015, for posting informational posters about “Bringing Jiang Zemin to Justice.” The police ransacked her home. She was placed in criminal detention for five days but released on June 11.
6. [Beijing] Three Practitioners Detained
Ms. Tian Shurong and Mr. Wang Xiangxu were arrested by officers from the Qinghe Police Department on May 3, 2015. They are detained at the Chaoyang District Detention Center. Mr. Ma Jian, Ms. Tian's son, was arrested for preventing the police from ransacking his home. He is detained at the Pinggu Detention Center.
