(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhang Yuqin was detained for five weeks and severely beaten in April and May 2015.
She was arrested at the Huaibin County Train Station on April 17, 2015 by agents from the 610 Office. They took her to a hostel for eight days and then transferred her to another hostel. She was severely beaten during this time.

Ms. Zhang refused to put her fingerprint on the police document on May 15, as she was illiterate and could not read it. The 610 Office agents grabbed her hair, punched and kicked her, and forcibly put her fingerprint on the paperwork.
She was taken to the Zhengzhou Brainwashing Center on May 16, but the authorities there refused to accept her because of her poor physical condition.
Ms. Zhang was taken to the Huaibin County People's Hospital on May 20 for a physical exam. The 610 Office agents signed her in using a fake name and age.
She was released on May 25.
