(Minghui.org) My son-in-law was a Party member and served in the army for several years. People in the army are strongly influenced by the Party's propaganda regarding Falun Dafa.
Because my husband and I went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa in 2000, since he was our relative, he was also punished. The police confiscated his motorcycle and he had to pay 1000 yuan to get it back. The government staff threatened him.
As a result, he did not want to listen when we clarified the truth to him and asked him to withdraw from the Party organizations. He didn’t understand why we handed out information and talked to people about the persecution. When my husband was arrested for clarifying the truth, he was indifferent, thinking that we were fighting a futile battle.
However, over the years we never gave up trying to help him understand Falun Dafa .
His second child was born in 2006. My husband and I visited the family and congratulated them. We took this opportunity to help him withdraw from the Party. While I sent righteous thoughts, my husband said, “You have a good life now with a son and a daughter. You need to consider withdrawing from the Party organizations. It's bound to be destroyed by Heaven. You need to think about your family's future!” Our son-in-law readily agreed. From that day on, he gradually became more accepting when we talked to him about the persecution.
One summer day in 2014, he shared his miraculous experience which completely convinced him of the power of Falun Dafa. He said, “Another driver and I drove a truck loaded with goods to Hainan Province. On the way, we collided with another car, and I felt the truck shake a little. We got out and saw the load of goods had shifted. The truck was seven to eight meters tall and sixteen meters long. We were right in the middle of the road. If all the goods fell off, how could we put them back?
I suddenly remembered what you told me. I shouted, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good! Teacher please help me!” I then slowly moved the truck to the side of road so we wouldn't block other cars. When we got out, we were amazed by what we saw – the goods were neatly lined up, even better than when we started!”
He continued, “I was so thankful that I wanted to kneel down and bow to Teacher. Now whenever I go on a trip, I always recite “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” I'm always safe. Even the police no longer check my truck.”
He said, “You never asked me for money or have needed to be hospitalized. On the other hand, my own parents are often hospitalized and need our constant financial support and we have to take care of them.”
He said, “One time when I had dinner with my friends, someone made a negative comment about Falun Dafa. I told them seriously, 'Do you know the truth about Falun Dafa? It’s not like what you said. My in-laws practice Falun Dafa. I see the true situation. You shouldn't spread lies if you don't know the facts.' That person instantly became silent.”
I told him, “No wonder Teacher is watching over you. You've spoken up and defended Falun Dafa.”
My son-in-law has truly changed his attitude towards Falun Dafa.
