(Minghui.org) Coordinators and practitioners who produce Falun Dafa informational materials at materials production sites play an important role in letting people in China know about the persecution. However, I have noticed certain problems among practitioners, which can lead to significant losses.
Reading Minghui Editorials and Notices Is So Important
The Minghui website publishes editorials and notices that are for all practitioners to read.
I once wanted to share with a practitioner, a coordinator in a neighboring area, about the Minghui editorial “Starting Point,” but he had not read it. I was surprised because the article had been published in Minghui Weekly one week earlier.
I would like to remind practitioners, especially coordinators, that we should read articles on Minghui when they are published, especially the important editorials and notices. Otherwise, how can we keep up with the progress of Fa-rectification? How can we coordinate activities well in our local areas?
A Minghui editorial mentioned Master saying:
“It is not that Minghui Net does not make mistakes, however, on important matters, practitioners must pay attention to the attitude of Minghui Net. The purpose of posting my photo and the article 'The Knowing Heart' on Minghui Net was to build a trustworthy website for practitioners.” (“Notice: A Second Authentic New Article of Master Li Since July 22, 1999 Will Be Published in a Few Days,”)
The above notification tells practitioners that it does not matter if they are Minghui editorials or important notices from the Falun Dafa Association, they are all approved by Master. We must read them as soon as possible.
The Fa Is Our Guide
Quite a number of practitioners are very interested in articles that talk about “reincarnation” and “visions in other dimensions” that have been published on the Pureinsight website. They even bring them to the group Fa study meetings to discuss.
We sent forth righteous thoughts for a practitioner once, who was experiencing a test of sickness karma. A practitioner asked if this practitioner had been respectful to his parents, because an article on the Pureinsight website stated that if a practitioner is not respectful then the old forces would take advantage of this loophole and he would weeded out.
However, this article is only a practitioner's understanding and is not the Fa. It could be argued that traditional Chinese culture attaches great importance to filial piety, which is deemed an important virtue. But, is it a fundamental reason for the old forces to interfere with practitioners?
Master said,
“It is said that Buddhism is in chaos. It has even absorbed from Confucianism things such as respecting parents and love for children. Buddhism did not have such content.” (Zhuan Falun)
Cultivation Is Serious
An article published on the Chinese version of Minghui in 2010 stated that the content of materials used at production sites in China should be standardized according to the requirements published on Minghui, and that magazines and materials that are not published on Minghui should not be passed or distributed among practitioners.
Some practitioners working at the materials production sites have told me that some of the materials they produce were not taken from Minghui because they were requested by practitioners. But in my opinion, cultivation practice is very serious; if we cannot handle things well, we will have to take responsibility for our actions.
Therefore I suggest that, not only the coordinators and practitioners working at the materials production sites, but all practitioners, should try their best to visit the Minghui website and read the Editorials and Notices as soon as they are published. We need to catch up with the progress of Fa-rectification, to validate the Fa in the correct manner.
Master said,
“But, as long as you go by Dafa, go by what Master has told you, you will have a path to walk, and that will be something nobody can change. But the path will be very narrow—narrow to the extent that only if you are extremely righteous will things work out and will you manage to save people.” (What is a Dafa Disciple - Fa Teaching Given at the 2011 New York Fa Conference)
