(Minghui.org) I began practicing Falun Dafa in 1996, and have experienced many miraculous events since then. Through these events, I've come to realize the extent of Dafa's extraordinary power and how if I have righteous thoughts, where there's a will, there will definitely be a way.

Here are some anecdotes of how Dafa helped me resolve some difficult situations.

Wish Granted: A Wooden Ladder

When the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began the persecution in 1999, hundreds of banners went up overnight demonizing Dafa. They were plastered on nearly every wall in my neighborhood, and I, along with the local practitioners, decided that we should take action immediately. We slashed the banners with knives, painted over them, and took them down – anything to remove the libel printed on them.

One time, I saw a sign hung three meters above the ground at a busy intersection. I was determined to remove the sign so that people would not be misled by its message.

At night, while sending righteous thoughts, I biked to where the sign was and stood on my bike. But I still couldn't reach the sign.

A thought came to my mind all of a sudden: I should ask Master for help. Shortly after that thought, I turned my head and saw a wooden ladder lying on the ground, a ladder that hadn't been there when I visited last time. Master had answered my prayer for help.

I was overjoyed and quickly removed the sign with the help of the ladder.

Flying Across an Icy Road

There were six pieces of propaganda defaming Dafa put up some distance from where I lived. Because they were also across from the police department, we didn't remove the signs for a long time. I talked with the other practitioners in the area, and we decided that this would be a job that we did in pairs. However, since we all lived far from each other, it was difficult finding a time that fit all of our schedules.

I thought to myself: “I'm a Dafa disciple. Master will protect me. I can do this by myself.”

It was freezing then and had snowed for several days. The roads were covered in ice, and even people walking often slipped and fell. I asked Master to look after me and set off at night on my bike.

My bicycle slid on the ice, but did not turn over – in fact, the ice actually sped me up. It felt as if I were flying across the ice.

Soon, I reached my destination and took down the six defamatory signs. I thanked Master for his help.

A Lucky Encounter with a Taxi Driver

In order to help people learn the truth about Dafa and the persecution, I would go to rural areas to hand out information explaining the facts – something far different than what Party propaganda leads them to believe. Usually, I would get rides from fellow practitioners, but after a while I realized that I should not rely on others.

One day, I took the bus at 6 P.M. and went to a village more than 15 kilometers away from where I lived. By the time I gave out all my brochures, it was past ten at night. I missed the last bus back to the city.

I sent righteous thoughts and begged Master for help, and an extraordinary thing happened. A taxi suddenly stopped on the side of the road.

I ran up to the driver and asked, “Are you going to the city?”

He said yes and asked me to hop in.

The taxi driver told me that he had planned not to drive long distances after 6 P.M. However, a customer who lived in the village insisted on getting a ride, and the driver couldn't turn him down.

The driver said, “Don't you think it's a bit strange? It's as if I was sent to take you home.”

I was in tears by then. I knew that this was Master's arrangement yet again.

Caught, and Released

In November 2004, the Epoch Times published the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Practitioners living in my city began to distribute copies of the book to the public. Due to our attachments and failure to practice cultivation of speech, the evil in other dimensions took advantage of our gaps. Three practitioners were arrested for distributing the book to others.

I was also brought into the police station. When the officers interrogated me, I reminded myself that I was a Dafa disciple. I refused to cooperate with them and did not give them any names. Even if I had shortcomings in cultivation, no one should use this to persecute me or sentence me to prison.

An officer told me that I was the first person in China to spread the Nine Commentaries and that I had committed a serious crime. He even showed me a detention warrant with my name on it.

I was not fazed by his threats and kept sending righteous thoughts while reciting the Fa loudly. I was detained from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M.

I was firm in my faith towards Dafa and asked Master for help.

Soon, the door opened and the head of the local 610 Office walked in.

I said, “I have not committed any crimes. Let me go home.”

A police officer disappeared from the room, and then came back and told me that I was free to go. They drove me home in a police car, unharmed.
