Additional Persecution News from China – May 11, 2015 (12 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 12 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 16 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Amur, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Yushu Arrested Again

Ms. Li Yushu was arrested again on May 8, 2015.

2. [Ruichang City, Jiangxi Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Officers from the Pencheng Police Station and the Saihu Police Station ransacked Mr. Wang Yiming's home and confiscated nearly 100,000 yuan in cash and personal belongings. The officers did not find Mr. Wang, so they took his son to the police station. They did not give Mr. Wang's son any food, nor did they allow him to use the bathroom. They deprived him of sleep for 24 hours. In exchange for his son's release, Mr. Wang did not mind being arrested. He is now being held in the Ruichang City Detention Center.

Seven or eight officers from the Pencheng Police Station broke into Ms. Zhao Xiangzhen's home and ransacked it on the evening of April 15, 2015. They confiscated a computer, a printer, and Falun Dafa books. Ms. Zhao is being held in the De'an County Detention Center in Jiujiang City.

Seven or eight officers from the Saihu Police Station broke into Ms. He Yuyun's home and ransacked it on the evening of April 15, 2015. They confiscated Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa) informational materials and Falun Dafa books. She is being held in the Ruichang City Detention Center.

The police also harassed or ransacked the homes of Ms. Wang Dongjiao, Ms. Qi Xiaorui, practitioner Xia, practitioner Nie, and practitioner Xiong.

3. [Huaibin County, Henan Province] Three Practitioners Remain in Prison

Ms. Lei Xia, Ms. Xu Jianping, and Ms. Leng Chunping have been held in Xinxiang Women's Prison. They were arrested on February 12, 2013. Ms. Lei was sentenced to four years in prison. Ms. Xu and Ms. Leng were each sentenced to three and a half years in prison.

4. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Sufang Sentenced

Ms. Wang Sufang from the Jinzhou District was sentenced to three and a half years in prison. She has appealed to the Dalian Intermediate Court. There was no second trial. The judge went to the detention center to notify her, “The original sentence has been upheld.”

5. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested; Whereabouts of One of Them Unknown

Mr. Li Linshen and his wife Ms. Wang Zaimei, both teachers in the No. 2 Tianliu Middle School in Shouguang City under the jurisdiction of the Weifang City, were arrested by officers from the Jinan City Domestic Security Division and the Shouguang City Domestic Security Division on May 7, 2015. Ms. Wang is being held in the Shouguang Brainwashing Center. Mr. Li's whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Li Suzhen is being held in the Weifang City Detention Center.

6. [Beijing] Five Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Tian Shurong, young practitioner Ms. Xiao Qing, Mr. Wang Xiangxu, Ms. Zhang Aidi, and Ms. Zhang Ailing, all from the Pinggu District, Beijing, were arrested by the Criminal Investigation Division of the Qinghe Police Department on May 3, 2015. The officers ransacked Ms. Zhang Aidi and Ms. Zhang Ailing's homes on May 4, 2015. They confiscated a computer, a DVD burner, some blank DVDs, and Falun Gong informational materials from Ms. Zhang Aidi's home and Falun Gong informational materials from Ms. Zhang Ailing's home.

7. [Huaiyang County, Henan Province] Ms. Zhang Xiangzhi Arrested

Ms. Zhang Xiangzhi was followed and arrested when she was sending forth righteous thoughts at Taihaoling Square on May 3, 2015. Her daughter went to the police demanding her release. The police did not allow her to see her mother.

8. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Ms. Cheng Guoxiang Still Being Persecuted

Ms. Cheng Guoxiang was taken to Changchun.

9. [Shiyan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Liu Xiangdong Missing

Mr. Liu Xiangdong has been missing for over 20 days.

10. [Lanxi City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Hu Jianfen Arrested

Ms. Hu Jianfen was arrested on April 11, 2015. Her whereabouts are unknown.

11. [Chongqing] Mr. Zheng Peng Missing Since Last October

Mr. Zheng Peng, in his 50s, from the Yuzhong District used to work for the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. He has been missing since October 2014.

12. [Beijing] Mr. Qin Wei Arrested

Mr. Qin Wei was arrested on the morning of May 6, 2015. When his wife came home at noon, 3 police officers were ransacking the couple's home. The officers took a computer, a copy machine, and a printer among other items. Mr. Qin is being detained in the Haidian Detention Center.
